I think TSU had great dancers, but not a good band and I thought BCU's drum majors were entertaining, but NSU had a better overall show. It's not just about dancing and blowing an instrument out of tune. NSU still was the better band.
When I here the MIGHTY SPARTAN LEGION I get goose bumps. The SOUND is so powerful. Any other HBCU band or any college band for that matter will always be a distant second. That's just a fact. BEHOLD THE GREEN AND GOLD

Sounded so so good! I was sitting in the second deck on the 50. And I just can't believe they sounded so good. It was my first time seeing or hearing NSU! They were CLEARLY the best band of the night. They were in a league of their own. Keep up the good work. Marching technique is SUPERB as well. Basically, just good all-around!

DO YOU HEAR THAT FANFARE ITS THE BEST FROM THE BEGIN OF 1min02 all the way up till 1m26.. That alone won the battle of the bands as the greatest band ever at HONDA.
I will be @ NSU next year...LOL...already accepted with honors...but yeah...that trumpet run at 02:12 was so on point and beautiful...screaming @ its best!

I had the privledge of seeing these guys play today during halftime of the Norolk St @ Rutgers football game.
They were amazing, and got a standing ovation!
This video is pretty good, but I must say they're much better live.
