That is not a Northern Pike, I Have never seen a European Pike ever, but that does look like a musky and i know muskys have bars going Vertical while a pike has bars going Horizantal. so that looks like a Musky to me and trust me i go fishing all the time and i know my fish!

You could tell the diffrence between a pike and/or muskey because the pike has a more duck like mouth, the muskey however has a more of a flat like mouth. If you think im wrong than just answer me back.

@Pureskatevideos 1) Musky only have scales on half their face 2) This is a European pike. There are no muskies in Europe. 3) Northern pike (North America, some parts of Eurasia) are dark green with coffee bean spots. Musky are normal light grey/brown with vertical stripes.

This is a muskie, there is no doubt. Or a young tiger muskie. Baby pike do have stripes, but not when they get this size. Not only do I not play a marine biologist on TV, or in real life. But i do photograph fishing for a few rod manufacturers and magazines. Trust its a muskie.

Heh. My grandad has been bitten by pike. It was a hospital visit after that. :D Pike is like a piranja and shark mixed.Pike aint often very big fish (luckyly for us), but pike has a very affective attack tacktics as hes birth present. Pike is also a predator that kills and eats everythin he can kill and manage to fit in hes mount. Pikes has pretty often, wierdly often died by tryin to eat too big prey and suffocated because of that. :D
