Every one he admired, loved and believed in.He believed in all of those things, he was talking about the dream being over - the Beatles, etc. He was coming to terms with his life. If you ever noticed, he wore a cross.
This is a sad song... it's sad, because Jesus is the one Person Lennon should have believed in. Now, Lennon knows God isn't a concept, and that He's very real.
