Nice upgrade :-p do you have a video of the leds inside the unit? Have done this to, but with 5w leds wich are ic controlled and have normal bulb fittings...
@ebLaSe - Luckily I have pic that speaks volumes... It is a picture of just the brake lights on, led (Left) and the stock bulb (Right)...
The difference in output is much more apparent than the pic shows with the naked eye.
10w led is massive overkill. You will have a tough time getting rid of 50w of heat (Per Side)
Rain and dust are of no concern, they are 100% as sealed as the inside of the car. If there was water in this location the stock bulbs would be dead too.
@MakingBoost Nice picture, thanks buddy. With that picture, 10W is too much, lol. My doubt is about to see you with rain if it is the same thing, completely satisfy. I thinking to do the same with my french car.

I highly recommend running a wattage appropriate driver circuit instead.
A resistor will produce a bunch of heat at the size required. Not to mention that high wattage led's are sensitive to power fluctuations.

I just got my red 3w led and I don't know what kind of resister I need for it? Do you know my truck has a 12v battery.

Normal bulbs with 21W is about 450lumens. A 3W LED is 90 to 150lumens. How it is with rain? Dust? Did you try a 10W LED?
Thanks in advance.

@ebLaSe - No problem and good Luck!
If you keep heat removal in mind from the start you should succeed..
Keep an eye out I have some new headlight videos coming soon with more diode goodness.
