I was at horseshoe point a few days ago, I didn't get a chance to ride though as it was busy ): but the horses there were by far the best horses I've seen. I watched a 7 year old boy horse ride and he was amazing, after speaking to the instructor I found out he had only been riding for one year, but they concentrate on the sitting more than anything else.
I ride there and I know her. She will be a great rider no question and she is definately dedicated and motivated and has the right attitude. Yes Thailands riding community is smaller and it is easier to be one of the best riders in Thailand than in the USA but it doesn't mean that it's easy. There is so much more competition to make it into the national team and people go to extreme lengths flying to korea, japan and germany for months at a time to train. Keep her age in mind.
oh ok yeah one of thailands best riders? well considering there's very few riders in that country thats good because its a million times harder to be one of the best riders in the USA!

excuse me? there are alot of good riders in thailand! have u seen how many "best riders" there are? there are tons nd im on of em. its really hard cuz there are alot of talentes riders in thailand
@horsiigurl i went there one of the days with my family to horseshoe point. it looked a bit boring if im tbh there was no enthusiasm from the teachers
of course, just like i said.. any one can look nice in dressage or flat classes, when some one else makes the horse do perfect so it does every thing for the rider. she does nothing cept sit there and post... i hate riders like this. They are making her up to be this GREATT rider and yea shes not.
umm ok? that was really stupid.. i can gaurentee she din't train any of those horses. shes just up there for the ride. any one can be a good rider if some one else puts all the work into their horse for them.
heh. cool but I think she hasn´t trained out these horses herself :P (I saw on tape so much mistakes) I think I can win too so much competitions if I have a pro horses :D
Thats a LOT of pressure to put on a 10year old girl - no matter how much she wants it. I mean at the age of 10 I *was* going to be one of the UKs top riders...attitudes and opinions change. How much pressure is she going to get if she decides she wants to do something else? Saying that she looks like she has a nice seat - would have been nice to see more of her riding rather than them just talking.
I WENT TO THAT PLACE!

Good for her. I hope she realizes her dreams.
For a little kid in a country where they are not really focused on horse riding competitions she does fine.

She really isnt that good at jumping. Her heels arent down and she comes down on the saddle really hard. But she looks nice in Dressage :)
