As for coconut oil, it has many healing properties. It is supposed to be a more stable oil for cooking, (as in it does not become harmful, in higher cooking temptures). Also other cultures use it for moisturizing their bodies. A Pakistani friend of mine said they use it everyday for Brides to prepare them for their wedding day (on hair and skin/ head to toe), they also add fragraced oils to it ( like lavander). Just thought you'd like to know. =D

Happy new year! I recently started using coconut oil in my hair, too! Really amazing on the hair as you said but you should also try it in your cooking. Awesome! Especially on popcorn. I bought the food grade kind, too, so I just scooped some out in a small pot and keep that separate for my hair. ;)

I agree! I live in California and it's around 40-60 degrees every day now. I'm FREEZING. Constantly wearing layers and scarves and long socks. My friends that live in colder places say I'm a wuss that doesn't know what real cold is, but whatever.

Marnie ~ Have you tried using the ELF studio cream shadows & liners? They work super awesome as primers or worn alone b/c they're all pretty shimmery, as well. I only have one MAC paint pot that I picked up at a cco, but still way expensive compared to ELF. I do have a dark brown bronze cream dbl wear one from Estee Lauder, but found a VERY comparable colored one by ELF in "Bronzed"....ha! =D

So funny I have that exact container of coconut oil I LOVE it!!:)) I also use it believe it or not to tame my brows and put it on my lashes at bedtime only of course and it moisturizes the hair and makes the lashes look longer:) I also have coconut oil in my pantry and use it all the time for cooking so awesome for u!!:))

I tried the YSL lippys after watching your Chevy haul as my g'day present to myself. I originally purchased the #2 but gave me severe dead lips! I did however become addicted to the formulation and purchased 3! Going by Lisa Eldridge and going for more color on high end I got 12,27 and 17 which my hubby adored!

I love love LOVE the Real Techniques brushes! They are all so soft, they work fantastically, they DO NOT shed...like Sigma brushes, and they are just a dream to work with!! I've even gotten a bunch to use in my pro kit! Some of my clients are shocked when I tell them how much the brushes are, and where you can get them from! They always think that they are some super fancy high end pro brushes :) I also love eco tools! They are great brushes as well! And are GREAT for vegan clients!!

Oooh, that Essence lipstick looks so pretty! Funny, it does look like Sable. :) I ADORE Cononut Oil! I tried the YSL lippys after watching your Chevy haul as my g'day present to myself. I originally purchased the #2 but gave me severe dead lips! I did however become addicted to the formulation and purchased 3! Going by Lisa Eldridge and going for more color on high end I got 12,27 and 17 which my hubby adored!

I love love LOVE the Real Techniques brushes! They are all so soft, they work fantastically, they DO NOT shed...like Sigma brushes, and they are just a dream to work with!! I've even gotten a bunch to use in my pro kit! Some of my clients are shocked when I tell them how much the brushes are, and where you can get them from! They always think that they are some super fancy high end pro brushes :) I also love eco tools! They are great brushes as well! And are GREAT for vegan clients!!
