@katiejemima Actually, if you look closely to the hind legs, you can see that the horse misjudged the distance and went to put his hoof down but there wasn't ground beneath it, that's why he fell.

Is it just me, or is some of the footing on these courses really bad and somewhat dangerous? There are a couple of places where it looks like there's just mud leading into a pond; yes, something you'd see on a trail ride/foxhunting course, but you can take that at whatever speed you like, while these riders are being timed...

We also never use any footage where the horse or the rider suffers more than a bruise or 2.

We only show the films, we are not standing at the jumps pushing the horses over!
