  • the greatest song i ever heard....

  • I love Mexicans who love Radiohead:D I'm one of em ahahah.

Anyways, great fucking song! Vid reminds me of Aphex Twin.

  • whow...

  • GREAT! very good job pal :) for real

  • you completely missed the down beat of the intro, it doesn't sync up at all, such an easy fix, and small detail that makes a rather large impact

  • Excellent video. Perfectly captures the eeriness of the music.

  • ok i feel exactly the same way 4:02

  • Radiohead has just echoed over the years as sound I hear. Sound I love. They really do not let you ignore them. They constantly remind me of raw talent, and what it truly means to be born to do something. I hope they're around for another 25 years.

  • Wow, excellent video, describe perfectly the song ! Should be the official video !!!!

  • pretty good song

  • very good job

  • radiohead would be proud

  • fkin brilliant

  • Radiohead's music is fucking weird.

and yes i appreciate good music.

and yes i am open minded.

and no i dont smoke weed.

  • @captainfrank31 If you don´t do all that, then even if its weird, you can´t say it´s bad.

It´s true, Radiohead´s music isn´t for everyone, but if you really appreciate good music you should be able to appreciate that this people have real talent.

  • wow you just visualized the feeling the song gives me! nice work

  • When I was younger I used to play this song alongside the scene in Terminator 2 when sarah connor is in the mental asylum, I'd sync it so the climax at 3:09 was the exact point she saw arnie again. Yeah... I had a lot of time on my hands back in those days. It worked surprisingly well though!

  • finally some nice sound!!

  • awesome video man

climbing up the walls is my favorite off ok computer by far

and i think this video does a better job of having a visual interpretation of the paranoia thats bleeds though this song than any other ive seen

  • A work of a genius. How I wish I have that virtuosity!

  • Great song but too many twitchy nipple shots in this video.

  • Well actually this video fits the song perfect. Not many ge that the man is Thom before he was with Radiohead he worked at a mental institute. All around the neighborhood they kept Alarms in case any of them got out so they could hit the alarm if anything, the song is simply an account of the craziez terrorizing people.

  • amazing video :)

  • this is amazing. Cant wait for your next video

  • did he just come? oh yes hello this body seems quite familiar! and the head did some wrong turns and still does. i run backwards. red. let the loving come back to me. girls can do it alone too.

  • This is a great video, In reality it fits perfectly. What originally inspired Thom Yorke to right this song was all the insane crap he saw while he worked in a mental asylum. In my opinion this could be interpreted as the man in the video is the insane part that has taken over this characters very being, while the man who is watching him is his inner thoughts realizing what it is he has become waking up to the harsh reality, and the blur's significance the fact that it is not really him

  • Wow this really reminds me of something from silent hill or sumthin. Altogether pretty good project.

  • i love how it's so fucking psychodelic :D

  • That is soooo creepy, open up your skull i'll be there climbing up the walls, oof i love it.

  • It gets kinda long at one moment but otherwise pritty good video

  • Dawkins I love Radiohead!! so so much : )

  • this song is tight

  • "Climbing up the Walls" is probably the most beautifully grim song on OK Computer. It's almost like the dark shadow of the album, the song to me seems like a look beyond city life (one theme of OK computer) and into the hearts of the madmen who live in it. The video you made is a good interpretation of that aspect of madness in the song. keep it up

  • "I've got the smell of a local man"... How does this fit with Hannibal Lector? mmm

  • i love how its so fucking depressing

  • i am the key to the lock of your room. that keeps your toys in the basement. <3

  • lock of your house* :3

  • fuck yes

  • beautiful video for a beautiful song..

  • this song sounds like what hash smoke looks like...

  • this one is a really well done video...I liked it a lot!

  • you did a good job on this one.

  • this is perfection

  • the bit at the beginning's a tad cheesy tbh..

  • this song is so dark and seductive aahh its my favourite

  • Fucking Genius.

  • great! congratulations! keep on working!

  • yes.. it's fantastik work!

  • fantastic work..check my version out here /watch?v=X4SprM_Hy9w ; )

  • I hate to sound like a music noob, but does anyone know what instrument is being played at 3:09? I love it.

  • its either the radio that Jhonny uses or just guitar with effects

  • it could be a guitar with heavy effects or it could be some sort of synthesizer.

  • im not sure but i think its a guitar with heavy distortion harminizing with a slap base or he could just be playing the guitar real heavy its not a synthesizer tho its definatly a guitar

  • He's using an isntrument called an Ondes Martenot, which is an early electric piano, it's a very rare instrument. Search it up

  • such a beautiful song with such a beautiful video, well done guys

  • huu... great.. fucking great!

  • Fuck.i like this idea.

  • Godamnit I had a visually similar idea for a clip for this song. this is pretty damn well done though.

  • los movimeintos y el contraste de luz ,exentes

  • i love it! this is my favorite song of them!

  • smughhhh...!! man

  • Excellent sound !

  • I think it's good that you don't necessariliy define the relationship between the blurred face and the person in the house. The song is about climbing up the walls, so maybe the blurred face is an inner demon, a paranoia, an egregoire, or archetype. Maybe one is disturbing the other or perhaps they are disturbing each other, either way I think it's a great video and thankfully leaves good room for interpretation. (which is something all good film must do)

  • agreed apart from how you talk in third person, i hate that! ^_^

  • Well said! :]

  • @viper8red

The way I see it, the song (and thusly this video) is about a man who is haunted by his inner demons. His dark past follows him no matter where he goes, echoing in his mind, so instead of going out and letting people see this demon, he keeps himself locked in his room, the demon climbing and pounding at the walls of his mind. Notice the withdrawn appearance of the man. The pill bottle on his nightstand. The way he cradles the cat that won't even love him as it flees. This is turmoil.

  • Damn! Great video!

  • sorry for the wall of text lol

    Dane

  • wow! good vid! there were some great shots, especially of the guy at the sink. that said, not a lot happened as it was mostly the blurred out face of that one character. could you shed some light as to the importance of seeing only him for most of the video? check out my vid of Climbing Up the Walls; there are definite similarities in tone, style, and story between ours that you might find interesting. btw, if it's not too much to ask, how much was the total cost for your production?

  • time and patience.

    and yes....the similarities are uncanny

  • its skinning me alive
