Quick shortcut:

Right click up near the "Columns Titles" and select "Show Date Added." Then just simple select any and all of the most recent added songs since those were the duplicated you just put in!

Ok this is useful BUT! ive got over 25,000 songs. and my itunes doubles EVERY song everytime i add my whole libary.. so.. if i do this method ill be sitting there for hours =| any suggestions? THANKS!

do this but instead of holding ctrl, click on the very first song, then scroll all the way down and hold shift and select the last song then click delete.
