100% truth? Why? So allegedly something extraordinary happened to this guy, and he has probably told the story a thousand times. He claims that he has such a vivid memory of the binary code the ship implanted in his brain that he was able to write it down flawlessly from memory.

And yet, when he has to report the simplest facts, he has to read from a god damned piece of paper, and can barely do that right! He can't even pronounce triangular, something he must've said 1000 times since then.

Intelligence papers on the "Rendlesham incident" have gone missing, files from the National Archives reveal. The missing files relate to a report of mysterious lights from US servicemen at RAF Woodbridge in Suffolk in 1980. The disappearance came to light with the release of 8,000 previously classified documents on UFOs. Officials found a "huge" gap where defence intelligence files relating to the case should be, the papers show.

Yes, James Penniston forgot to tell us the most important thing - that he touched the object, that it felt like glass, that following this event a beam of light shone down at the witnesses feet (of which he was party to). Back when this incident took place the airmen were told to “keep it quite”; now, in retirement, the same authorities call these men liars for telling the truth – pretty rich when Penniston and his men were on the scene at the time. I rest my case.

The most striking thing for me about JIm Penniston, Halt, Burroughs et al is their demeanour; it's as though they dont *want* to be a part of all this but reluctantly speak publically about it because otherwise they would be betraying themselves. The most convincing UFO case ever in my opinion, and also the most amazing.

Awesome video. None of the participants have ever come forward to say this was all some sort of story they made up for the fun of it. They took a big gamble making official documentation of the incident knowing full well it could have jeopardized their military careers. Former US president Jimmy Carter had a sighting a few years before this incident and was so intrigued by it he also made out an official report.

Larry King made a good point about this incident. When a trained military person witnesses a craft taking off silently, and then flying away at a very fast speed, there aren't many good explanations. They could be lying, but the event was witnessed by more than one person with good reputation and integrity. They could be delusional or misled, but the level of illusion would be quite incredible: touch a craft, see it take off, fast and silent. If an illusion, psychologists should study this case.

Interesting video. He says that 80 trained military personnel witnessed the take off of this craft. Were those people on site, or observing from a distance (from the military base)? Why are they not coming forward and corroborating this story?

All of the witness testimony from people like Jim Penniston went to the United States and was never sent to the MOD.  So if you ask the MOD about it they have no clue. Bentwaters was a join base back in 1980 between the U.S. and the UK. The U.S. took the witness testimony and it hasn't been seen since. I truly believe Penniston that he walked up to and touched the craft. It's time for full Disclosure...

Light can be energy propulsion. It's all possible. But good question. Try to investigate the subject more. Dive into declassified FOIA documents. Start with 1940 :)

that's right. In both the Rendlesham case and also Allagash, there is mention of light being a *part* of the craft; an integral part of the structure, somehow. Obviously their propulsion methods are at present beyond what we know so perhaps one day it will all make sense.

Second time I have seen a posting of this and its great to see it out there. The incident he talks about should be part of the MOD release of 160 files and 10.000 incidents reported in the UK, some are natural events but a lot are real sightings that could not be passed to one side. Can't wait for spring and the files to come out.
