@boyercam My wife has flown her plane outdoors at our flying field with no cut out problems at all so if your Tx and plane batteries are OK do a range check on the ground with a friend and check the distance.
If the range is not good - take it back - dont keep flying it if you suspect a range problem because you will either end up with the plane lost or so damaged the shop wont change it over saying the damage is down to you.
Its bad luck but thats electronics for you - hope this helps.
@brucepeter2007 it flew pretty well. (i have flown many helis but never planes so i wouldnt know what bad is) it ended in a very slight crash, only breaking the prop. total flight time 24 seconds. i was flying to low.
@TRAPBOULTERNAS - Flying indoors or out? If outside fly up to about 30 foot and then trim the plane for level flight at about half throttle and then you should be ready for anything...
Prop usually comes off which is one of its good design points so you had some bad luck breaking the prop.
