Handsdown the best headset I've ever used. I didn't think 5.1 would make such a huge difference until I got mine. The sound is 100% stunning! I highly recommend it.

I've tried the Gamecom 777, Logitech G35, and the Sennheiser PC350.

Go for the PC350, the audio is much clearer, and the Microphone is really professional.

Gamecom 777 has great bass, but lackluster high-end and decent mid-range.

Logitech G35 also great bass, but excels at mid-range. High-range is not so good.

The 377 and the 777 versions are the same except that the 777 uses a Dolby 5.1 USB adapter at $30 more than the 377 version which is useless if your pc's sound card is already 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound like mine is... Im guessing this adapter is for gaming geeks with laptops that don't have a kick ass sound card. The sound is great.... I don't recomend any of these large headphones to be use on mp3 players since they will sound shitty do to they are not made for them. reg. earphones r perfect.

No. Just because your sound card is 5.1 dosent mean the headset will perform 5.1. If you have a Creative X-Fi card then yes, it has the same technology that the USB adapter has. It takes a 2.0 signal and creatives Virtual 5.1 out of it.

They are the same except in the 367 you cannot hear outside, but the 377 allows you to hear outside. It just depends if you like it silent outside.

god the 777s suck so much don't even try getting them. They press hard down on your pressure points behind your jaw and it really hurts after a while I am barely talk without pressure!

That usb plug and play instantly work isn't exactly true. At least on Windows XP it has to go through the setup wizard. Where Windows says hey I see something new and all I had to do is tell it to find the drivers in the wizard and it worked...so you may have to do that.

The only bad thing about the USB thing is that it wont use your sound card, it would be a shame to put a big expensive sound card to waste if you had one.

you dont need the USB Adapter. it IS the sound card. Creative Cards should have technology called "Dobly headphone" which is what the USB Dongle does. The Headset is just a 2 channel headset but the Dolby Headphone creates a Virtual 5.1 Surround sound from it.

I got the GameCom 377 and it is so fuckin generic both in build and sound. These are the types headphones that are worn by people on the shooting range! There's absolutely no movement in the earcups, no rotation whatsoever and the mic is below average. End result: 6 out of 10 stars.

I got the Plantronics GameCom 777 headphones for x-mas and they are awesome. I can't believe the difference the USB Dolby surround module makes, the sound is quite amazing. They are a larger headphone and thought they looked quite dorkey, but after warring them for 6+ hours straight without any ear fatigue, I could ware them another 18 hours straight. I cant say that about my stylish wireless headphones that sound horrible and my ears feel like they could fall off after an hours.
