And the fact remains, Bush did not meet with Clarke until September 13th. And the first thing Bush did after the 9/11 attacks was ground all the airplanes except those flying the bin Ladens living in the United States out of the country without any interrogation. After that, it took him six weeks to send troops into Afghanistan. Why? Because he wanted anything that could link the 9/11 attacks to Saddam Hussein and Iraq.
