@nbackus9 It was really hard for me to choose, because both inq trees are equally awesome. For Sith Warrior, you can either tank with one lightsaber, or do dps with two. As a Inq, you can either become a caster that specializes on healing/lightning/corrupting force, or an assassin that uses a double blade saber infused with force lighting. Assassins can also stealth.

Quit comparing every class to a character.

Any moron can see that the inquisitor probably won't focus on a lightsaber, but why did you say that the MAIN point would be to save up energy, and the secondary to block blast bolts/melee strikes?

OBVIOUSLY since a RANGED DPS class will have distance, blocking blaster bolts with a lightsaber will be incredibly useful and a lot more useful than trying to go toe to toe in PVE.

If you go the tank spec, you'll be doing a lot of main tanking.

As Zoeller has said countless times, all tank specs are full out tanks, they are not hybrids, and they are not "off tanks"

regarding the hybrid question, there's alot of options to specialise in Inqisitor/consular, however, you specialise.

If you go tank, you're stealth will be sub par, your dps will be at tank level, and you'll be a tank. If you go Heal, you heal, and your damage sucks. If you shoot lightning, you do that every well, ect.

You specialize with talent points.

@crakedout123 'Tanking' is when if you're in a party of people, the 'tank' pulls all of the aggression of the enemies to focus on him. The tank is usually the member of the group who can absorb the most damage, hence 'tanking.' Because all the enemies are focused on the tank, Everyone else in the party does not take any damage. :)

I've played this game. Level 15 healer on the Jedi Side...Was good ;D Did better than my friends who were playing Jedi Knights and such....Oh and this game is very similar to WoW and the key bindings are mostly the same (P for spells and such) so I'm likely to buy it :')

@Badkarmaud You can if you want to, having the double bladed lightsaber will most likely be more efficient and do more damage but is just an extra option for you, you'll still be able to play with one lightsaber if thats you style.

O.o Um... The video just showed the maul type advanced class being male, and clearly sex doesn't change when one levels up. So human male/female for sith inquisitor is confirmed.

From my understanding any class can be any sex... but not every class can be every species. So a Sith Inquisitor can be any sex but can't be every species, for example sith inquisitor's can be human but not Sith "pure blood" species but a Sith Warrior class could be a "Sith Pure Blood" species or human.

It would all depend on how you define "Tank". I wouldn't call the inquisitor a "Tank" by any means. A "Tank" is a class that deals a lot of damage AS WELL AS takes a lot of it. The inquisitor is a DPS class where you can specialize in ranged (lightning) or melee (saber dps skills).

Pretty cool video, although I wish you would go into what has been released about their story. Such as the fact you start off as a slave as an inquisitor ;)

Ohhh man I hope this game finally gets the legitimacy of a proper battle mage style tank! There is no reason why force shields and phasing/stealthing for evasion couldn't make for an extremely effective main tank. It works really well for the tanking rogue in Rift, and I'd love to see that idea nudged more towards a mage style character as well. I'm tired of the same old stale WOW archetypes! Time for a breath of fresh air!

I can't begin to say all that's wrong with this video 'Hey, this guy has Dps abilities! and it says he can tank! but he's not a warrior, so I'm guessing he's just an offtank. NO the Assassin is just as viable a tank as the Warrior
