Better title, this tune sounding more complete then just the other monolitic sequences I listen from you, was remembering something like "Impressions of Sorcerer" from TD, but this must not be a real guitar even if it's sounding close.? Anyway I like it, three to four layers can make it.
I didn't look this up. I had a gruelling classical education [ but still can't spell fr shit.] with latin and classics. We even did rhetoric. Like in the quadrivium and trivium.
A little more finished modular jam than some others, i like it even better, the guitar fits very nice too, the video is cool hypnotizing and even little tutorial, fine job, this tune can easily go into a video theme serie, no doubt. nearly pro job! reminds me a little mark schreeve somehow. thanks
It was this video that inspired me to buy a sythesizer. I'm not anywhere close to that kind of money yet, but It can wait for now. I have a PS3 to buy and a manga collection to keep up.
Could you please do a full sequence album? I love this stuff man. As you can see from most of the comments, more ppl do. Super stuff and the exact reason I'm building my own modular too (Got about 15 modules or so built now). But I crave a full wall of knobs like yours :-) (and of course the talent to operate it in a musical way like you obviously have!)
I'd like to hear you explore the ambient side of your modular in combination with the sequencing. Of course, "ambient" is a term frought with connotations and preconceptions. I'm just using it loosely to describe sounds that are more atmospheric than rhythmic.
I'm just putting this out there since you want comments. It seems that you're being true to yourself and making music that pleases you, which is all that really matters in the end. Great work. I'll always keep my ear out for Morbius.
Let me preface this by saying I'm a drummer as well as synthesist. This music doesn't need drums. Your sequences are so compelling on their own. If anything, I'd rather hear a cd full of "pure" synth music from you. Not too many artists are a stepping with 100% analog modular these days.
Good sound and good production value, you should tell you viewers to add "&fmt=18" to the address bar to hear this as it was recorded. Not all compressed by YouTube. Also I like the quanitzed rhythm.
more electronic beat and I would buy this tune :) less cymbal in the beat...the only thing you have to correct but its very nice sounding....like a guitar :D
Whoa! I've been touring modular videos for a few weeks since coming back to building in June - and that's the BEST actual TUNE I've SEEN through all of the searching! If your CD has more tunes on it than sequences only, I'd be very interested in purchasing! Off to your website. :D

The past indicative of the verb to be is 'Wert.'
As in
Hail to thee blythe spirit. Bird thou neve wert.
I didn't look this up. I had a gruelling classical education [ but still can't spell fr shit.] with latin and classics. We even did rhetoric. Like in the quadrivium and trivium.
Great music by the by.
Thanx fr the post.

Nice vide indeed and this hypnotic sequence with long distorted guitar sounds reminds me of Heldon's Richard Pinhas songs.
