  • I skipped through all your talking to watch you use it

  • I had one in 64-5. Loved it. We burned ourselves constantly. I remember the heat and the smell. Was so great.

  • Odd thing is I seen this at kmart around september of 2011 and im like they still make this thing and here I still have mine from like 1990's that still has the light it came with that still works just the bug making stuff they dont make no more

  • i had the edible kind

  • Please never stop making video John :)

  • rainbow sperm?

  • I had one of those

  • I used to have this, I get barely ever get my mom to help me though. :C

  • @attapi0 dude that sucks my mom didnt make me wait for her!

  • man, they really sissified that unit from the original which had an open heat plate and a squeeze handle made of metal to lift the molds out. I think I even had the set that made troll heads for the top of pencils....man I feel old..

  • @TomZale56 You are 100% correct. Today's CCs are sissified. I have the original I got for Christmas in around 1967 or 68. Shit, it wouldn't be real 'Thingmaker' is you didn't burn the edge of your little finger now and then. I had the Mini Dragons too, and that troll head, and also the Shrunken Head mold. But I SO wanted the Fright Factory.

  • does anyone remember the toy that was similar to this, but instead of making creepy crawlers you smelted your own metal pendants and things? the more I think back on that toy, the more I'm shocked at how it was deemed ok for children...

  • @6045310708

Uh we made creepy crawlers, not gay pendants.

  • @Fettster777 it was like metal skulls and metal soldiers and things

  • my brother got one for his birthday a few years ago and i had like 3 scorpions

  • wait, the fumes are toxic? i used to love the smell of a fresh-cooked creepy crawler...

  • A major reason for the original recall was when the goop was being "cooked" toxic fumes would be sent into the air. Apparently too many kids breathed in the toxic fumes, so it was recalled.

  • I had something similar, when I was a kid (in 1990)

  • I had one of those and damn, it really hurt when i touched just a little the metal case

  • I always wanted that....I'm a girl.

  • T _____ T

  • OMG!

I had a Creepy Crawlers maker when I was a kid (in the 90s)

  • @willku9000 same here :)

  • I had a Bug's Life one of these

  • LOL "easy bake oven for guys"

  • you said 1864 at 1:08

  • @cacebabe he said 1964

  • can you eat them

  • @cinda2030 no there poisenouse unless you use jelly /jello

  • funny at 1:39

  • With the original Thingmaker, you could insert plastic wings & small safety clips into half done mold because it was on the outside heating, not in a small enclosed oven. Then you got a winged critter and a bug clip on for your clothes.

  • I loved this game, after mom got me my Easy Bake oven she had to get something for my brother and it was this, can you guess who used it more???

  • man i always wanted these but my mom never bought them for me!

  • I actually can't remember what happened to mine. I bet my mom threw it out when I was 16 (the last time I can remember using it). Yeah. My mom's one of those "clean up and clean out" kinda moms. Ha! Thanks for sharin!

  • @irishrocker779

i have the same type of mom. cannot STAND having old stuff around. we really have to be careful with telling her to keep certain things, because she'll even throw/give away things like books, papers, and tests that we might need later in school. and there are plenty of toys that my brother and i THOUGHT we had stored somewhere, but then found out she eventually threw out.

  • awesome man. i remember the commerical haha

  • my friend used to have one of those.......good times
