You know you're in a place ruled by ultras when the entertainment is banned, and entertainment is tolerated when it's ruled by moderates. I hope my approach is understandable.

@Eagle027 There are many kinds of belly dance and outfits according to country. The more liberal a country the more flesh tends to be shown. Turkey has some pretty revealing styles but a relatively mundane style imo. In other countries it may be necessary to wear a veil and/or headcovering. In Egypt it is forbidden to show the navel and so there they dance in full dresses or cover the midsection with mesh. No doubt somewhere both the navel and headcovering will be necessary.

@Eagle027 As for your comment on shooting each other over disagreements, you do realise America has been the cause of most of the recent trouble right? By removing or helping remove a perceived tyrant it leaves space to be fought over, alliances change, other countries see what they perceive as a removed tyrant and decide to fight and so on. Not all of Muslim countries persecute women, I've been impressed by attitudes in some.

I'm sorry Tanyeli has a completely different style of dancing than Didem. Didem doesn't have a new any thing, except that she doesnt move. I've been doing belly dance for over 15 years and i know a good dancer when I see one and Didem is OK not GREAT.
