Thanks! You hit the nail on the head, the strings are 3 orchestra and one solo: the low string is an orch A then up from there is an orch D, an orch G tuned down to F# and a solo A string on top! Not quite as tricky as it might seem ;).
haha well to be fair this was performed in a class where everyone (including pianists) were expected to play new music every week, so preparation time was very minimal.
