I've always liked Lois' character, and as a long time Superman fan, the thought of him ever really being with Lana never appealed to me, I've just been waiing patiently for Clark and Lois to finally notice each other. This was a great scene. It actually made me tear up.

In the comics, Lana was not forced to leave Clark. So hear me out, Lois was never Clark's second choice. Lois is not some sort of backup plan. That is a totally wrong way of looking at it. Clark and Lana loved each other in high school, but people grow apart and he fell in love with Lois. They were both his loves at different times. The thing is that Lois is the one he was the one that he was meant to spend the rest of his life with.
Another thing, Lana breaks up with Clark because she is 'holding him back'. OK I understand that I suppose with superman's destiny and all. But how come Lois doesn't hold him back then? It's such a lame excuse. Clark should be single after Lana till he becomes superman. That's the way it always was.

Clana is what made the ratings strong, but with the current Clois romance. That did not help the ratings at all, also the fact Lex is not on the show anymore. The show got better without A&M. Clark finally becomes man. S9 is the best season, period. Season 10's "Homecoming" one of the best episodes in the show's history. Clois, the second best SV relationship after Jonathan and Martha in the show's history. Clark is finally getting the respect he deserves. *Beep* Clana, it was destroying Clark Kent's character.

I`m glad Lois here comforted him. She feels his pain of being in tragic and failed relationships. Both she and Clark have endured failed and tragic relationships but they find real love with eachother.

I'm disappointed that the new writiers had to bring her back with a kryptonite-powered suit. This was the best way for lana to leave clark, and it even showed a side of her that wasn't selfish. But of course, they had to ruin it!

Most likely we will never see Lana again. Like I said, Lex's powersuit that she stole absorbes Kryptonite. Any time Clark came near her he was effected by the kryptonite so she left. She couldn't stay and see him everyday and never be near him.
You should search the clip where she leaves in season 8. It's pretty powerful.

clark was the quarter back and was sitting on that dunking chair thing, and lois threw the ball and dunked him. she ran up to him and ruffled up his hair. and then chloe stood there looking at them both and she knew.
lana and clark had a good run, but their relationship never worked, it was mostly clark in love with her. after she married lex she changed, and was no longer right for clark
This video made me cry because ever since the beginning i like lana and clark being together. Watch last week's episode made me sad too. But Clark and Lois are cute together.
She hasn't left the show completely, she will be back for some episodes starting in Novemeber, I believe. I truly believe that her and Clark were meant to be, and I hope they end up together. Smallville wouldn't be the same without her.

I don't really know this show, but it suppose to show Clark Kent growing up? Why do they only picture him as a 18 year old? I really want to see him grow up! From the age that they found him (he really was a baby, not a tottler!!! That's so wrong!)
In the story they find him as a just born baby in a spaceship.(U.F.O) So I would only watch the show if they really would show him growing up, from a baby to the point where he moves to the big city and becomes Superman.
The show started when he was a freshman in high school, and he just turned 21 this season. Having the show depict him as a baby would be boring. In the comics he may have been a baby, but in all other recent interpretations he was a toddler. Smallville has come such a long way that the creators are now calling it reinterpretation, and that they are not following the comics cause who wants to read the same story a million times. They made so many superman shows that they need to be original.
Was this Kristin Kruek's last season on Smallville because if Lana doesn't want Clark to Go after her where is she going to be, because we all know clark and Lois are meant to be together like in the old films unfortanetly.

We would like to get our point across, to the people behind the show, that Smallville should continue to be about Clark and Lana. this show is about clark kent growing up to being superman. In his superman period there is no lana and no clana and therefore they makers had to stop it. I think this was a very good time for lana to quit. Great job guys!

i totally agree with u... if Clana fans decide not to watch Season 8 it's their choice. i love Lana don't get me wrong, but this was indeed the right time for her to leave. Their love was just not meant to be. they didn't bring out the best out of eachother, maybe they once did but now they have done nothing but give eachother heartbreak. Smallville have it's own way of showing the Superman mythology so who cares if they decide to bring Lois in early? She is part of his destiny.
I said i'm not watching it anymore if Lois is brought into the picture b/t the Clana relationship. I watched the show because of Clana and it's their relationship that sparked the magic of this series. It wouldn't even make sense for a Clois to be in this show, hence the name Smallville, not Superman.
Actually, i have watched them together, but i can't see their chemistry because i'm not bias about Clois. The producers depend on the fact that everyone knows about Clark and Lois in Superman to give Clois credibility. But in Smallville, they don't have chemistry. You can tell it's being forced. One minute Clark was willing to do anything for Lana, and vice versa, but the next minute Clark is falling for Lois, but Lois hasn't done anything for Clark really, to show that she deserves him.
Yea I didn't see their chemistry at first either, but now I think it's cute how they cover up their feelings for each other w/jokes. Their relationship seems very easy, and she brings out a side of Clark that we've never seen. Usually Clark is so uptight, but he's always smiling and relaxed around her. There was always too much tension b/w Clark & Lana. Also I actually think they're progressing slowly with Clark's feelings for Lois. He hasn't said much yet, it's just subtle glances that show it.

i cried so much during this season because lionel dies and most of the time i think that they will come back somehow cause come on its smallville(the characters are bigger than death)but the way he died it was just well obvioous that he was gone forever...and then lex finds the fortress and then lana leaves clark.nothing is ever going to be the same aagain.and then just knowing there is only one seasong left was a terrible feeling. i just want things to be normal again...i love you clark!

Pretty much Clark/Lois crying together, makes me start sobbing like a baby.

i remember the end of an episode way way way way back, when we saw the first signs of clark and lois
clark was the quarter back and was sitting on that dunking chair thing, and lois threw the ball and dunked him. she ran up to him and ruffled up his hair. and then chloe stood there looking at them both and she knew.
lana and clark had a good run, but their relationship never worked, it was mostly clark in love with her. after she married lex she changed, and was no longer right for clark

She hasn't left the show completely, she will be back for some episodes starting in Novemeber, I believe. I truly believe that her and Clark were meant to be, and I hope they end up together. Smallville wouldn't be the same without her.

I think this sudden end of their relationship will be too painful for the audience and too hard to believe. clark and lana are together since the beginning of the show it is quite stupid for me to break them up now.Even though the show is supposed to follow the comic I think it would be great to end it differenty because it started differently. I refuse to believe that he will stop loving her. it is impossible.

I kinda like how they made Lana into a multi-faceted character. She's actually the most deep and possibly darkest/conflicted in the series.

I don't really know this show, but it suppose to show Clark Kent growing up? Why do they only picture him as a 18 year old? I really want to see him grow up! From the age that they found him (he really was a baby, not a tottler!!! That's so wrong!)
In the story they find him as a just born baby in a spaceship.(U.F.O) So I would only watch the show if they really would show him growing up, from a baby to the point where he moves to the big city and becomes Superman.

The show started when he was a freshman in high school, and he just turned 21 this season. Having the show depict him as a baby would be boring. In the comics he may have been a baby, but in all other recent interpretations he was a toddler. Smallville has come such a long way that the creators are now calling it reinterpretation, and that they are not following the comics cause who wants to read the same story a million times. They made so many superman shows that they need to be original.

Hello, a number of us Lana and Clana fans have decided to boycott Smallville. We will neither view season 8 nor purchase the DVDs. We would like to get our point across, to the people behind the show, that Smallville should continue to be about Clark and Lana. We've supported the show for years, and what they've planned for season 8 will just be a slap in the face for Clana fans. If you are a staunch Clana supporter, please spread the word.

this show is about clark kent growing up to being superman. In his superman period there is no lana and no clana and therefore they makers had to stop it. I think this was a very good time for lana to quit. Great job guys!

i totally agree with u... if Clana fans decide not to watch Season 8 it's their choice. i love Lana don't get me wrong, but this was indeed the right time for her to leave. Their love was just not meant to be. they didn't bring out the best out of eachother, maybe they once did but now they have done nothing but give eachother heartbreak. Smallville have it's own way of showing the Superman mythology so who cares if they decide to bring Lois in early? She is part of his destiny.

I said i'm not watching it anymore if Lois is brought into the picture b/t the Clana relationship. I watched the show because of Clana and it's their relationship that sparked the magic of this series. It wouldn't even make sense for a Clois to be in this show, hence the name Smallville, not Superman.

Actually, i have watched them together, but i can't see their chemistry because i'm not bias about Clois. The producers depend on the fact that everyone knows about Clark and Lois in Superman to give Clois credibility. But in Smallville, they don't have chemistry. You can tell it's being forced. One minute Clark was willing to do anything for Lana, and vice versa, but the next minute Clark is falling for Lois, but Lois hasn't done anything for Clark really, to show that she deserves him.

Yea I didn't see their chemistry at first either, but now I think it's cute how they cover up their feelings for each other w/jokes. Their relationship seems very easy, and she brings out a side of Clark that we've never seen. Usually Clark is so uptight, but he's always smiling and relaxed around her. There was always too much tension b/w Clark & Lana. Also I actually think they're progressing slowly with Clark's feelings for Lois. He hasn't said much yet, it's just subtle glances that show it.

i cried so much during this season because lionel dies and most of the time i think that they will come back somehow cause come on its smallville(the characters are bigger than death)but the way he died it was just well obvioous that he was gone forever...and then lex finds the fortress and then lana leaves clark.nothing is ever going to be the same aagain.and then just knowing there is only one seasong left was a terrible feeling. i just want things to be normal again...i love you clark!
