But, this physics are not "CPM", i think in the video was used "PMC" (ProMode Classic), in PMC is easier to fly enemies, and then, you have more chance to do a cool air rocket.

Now in CPMA there are default "CPM" mode :/

@Ichji well i have to say, i went and downloaded CPMA for now and played for a while - and I have to say, I have never ever played Quake 3 so well in my life. At first it's hard to tell the difference, but gradually it becomes clear, movement is miles better, strafejumping is actually doable in anything other than a straight line... i really like this mod!
