  • Goddamn americans! , the "diesel engine" is a european (read german) invention!!. Without Rudolf Diesel (google him) you´d probably drive around overheating, gas guzzling flatheads still today! Pay some respect!!

  • Kraftstoff ist offensichtlich noch immer zu billig...

  • That was pathetic

  • I forgot caterpillar

  • LOL, bring those things to America and see how ya'll do!

  • turbo surge to hell.

  • Turbo 'chirp chirp chirp'

  • AINT GOT SHIT ON A PETE

  • @DATAKPBOI upi mean a cummins, or a detroit, or a cat!!

  • @65crewcabpw I've been following european truck racing from the beginning and never heard about that. So it's BS. Detroit powered Volvos won some races and european tuned Cummins engines in european trucks took a couple of championships. Don't believe what Bruce tells you...

  • @65crewcabpw Pittsburgh Power only sold parts to one team and NO, they didn't win any race.

  • @V8Lenny BTW, the Cummins "K" series engine is very old, started something like 25 or 30 years ago, and it started at 600 horsepower and could easily top 1000 hp in a truck... In the 80's. It isn't even in production anymore, as it's an antique here now. I'd not be bragging about trucks with a 1000 hp, we did that over here several decades ago.

  • @65crewcabpw we have 1200 hp L series Cummins, no american can build it, sorry.

  • @V8Lenny LOL!!!

    You're hilarious.

  • @65crewcabpw The K-series is 40-50 years old, they were a option in early 60's KW W900A's. And a 1200HP L series Cummins is nothin to brag about, sorry, but its the truth, when Americans build 1500+ HP B -series (wich is smaller than the L-series) and 2,000+ HP KTA19's and 3,000HP Mack E9's, Europe has nothing to brag about. And what happened when Warpath (pulling tractor) went to Europe this last summer, wooped ass!

  • @65crewcabpw i thought that you could tune any wagon engine to have a thousand horsepower or so, its just how reliable it is afterwards

  • @Spikes99999 Of course. But the big old K engine had no trouble being totally reliable at 600 and 800 and 1000 hp in a truck. Had to watch how you ground off the drivers and busted up axles, though, because all that horsepower was pure torque, since it maxed out rpms at 2200 :)

  • @65crewcabpw good stuff :D but anything is better than pulling that tonnage on your own two feet lol

  • @65crewcabpw I dont whant to get invold but got ont youtube and cheak a guy naome ....... Mario Racicot is got a Freightlyner Argossy Cab over red got cheak it out 2500 HP Detroit he built him self tock 2 12V92 Sylver engine and weld it toghter juste go cheak oit out after come and tell me European can do the same ,, Sorry to have tacking your time ...

  • my daddy work here lol

  • what kinde of Turbo is doing that wastegate sound ?? beacuse not every diesel have turbo surge sounding like this one

  • well, global warming, be welcome ;)

  • It makes me laugh the guys dissing euro trucks, size for size European trucks have far more horsepower, and far better transmissions, ZF make the best Gearboxes in the world, period, , sure they might not look as 'ornate' as US trucks, but then again Trucks primary purpose is to haul, not look good.

  • @Makemyday0126 Nice try Euro troll. Those are big claims but let me break a few things down for your uneducated you-troll mind. First off big power is a waste of fuel. On the US, fleet trucks only average 450-500 HP. Owner operators and heavy haulers are the minority customers of big power engines so demand is low. Emissions also are a barrier, our diesel emissions laws are tougher than Euro laws. As for your ZF comment, your talking out of your ass and have no proof to back that statement up.

  • Listen No need to educate me, I'm basing my comment on Facts as well..Big power waste of fuel my ass, maybe so on a stupidly sized V8 petrol...sorry Gas...cough cars..sorry automobiles.....when you have cheap fuel or start to look into the next middle eastern country to plunder for the next cheap gas supply...yeah I guess it makes sense, but when you run big engines more torque for less input, less wear on machine, I could go on. But ya know what you stay trundling along living in the past.

  • @Makemyday0126

ZF makes shitty transmission for trucks.

  • It doesent get heavier it digs in the ground the further you go.

  • scanias are cool but gota love the petes

  • Awesome fuel economy lol

  • A New York city bus would have pulled further than that Euro garbage.

  • @freeed

yeah, over the edge of a cliff. dipstick.

  • Very nice…..There are plenty of European trucks in the US anyway. My uncle worked exclusively on Volvos---he owned his own garage.

  • i think that was a little to high of a gear

  • Would of got a full pull if he had a Detroit under the hood euro diesel don't have the same low end it's funny to watch them try to act like an American truck

  • @dieseldudee scania has more lown end then a 60 series....

and no im not putting them down i love the 60 series....

and if you ment the 2 stroke detroits... then your just insane

  • i could'nt here fuck all all i could make was a enoying voice

  • very goooooooood

  • nooooooooooooooooooooooo ese camion es una batata x mas q sea diesel no tiene q tirar humo asi. HAGAN ARREGLAR ESE CAMION

  • GOD DAMN! listen to that compressor surge! X_X poor turbos

  • I don´t get it.. does this thing, that they pull gets all of a sudden hevyer?

  • @rentsikas it digs up more and more dirt

  • POLLUTION EXTREME!!!!!!1

  • nice sound :D

    haha that turbo :P

  • Worst turbo bark ever! I'm surprised it didn't explode, or maybe that's why the video was cut short lol.

  • well spoken... nice truck and good pull...

  • zei hij nou 800 pk, dat dingetje?? egt nie

  • @thyntjuuh94 mijn vader werkt bij dat bedrijf en hij heeft 1200pk :)

  • @pauloguillenr the engine size would matter in the end, i guess the hummer is not 16 litre :)

  • Uhhh.... can someone say Compressor Surge. Poor Scania I don't care what anyone says thats brutal for compression !

  • sorry i meant funny sound

  • Comment removed

  • sounds like shit. You like the sound of a turbo not knowing if it should stop or not?

  • nolacakya para bok gibi adamlarda

  • bu avrupa insanın hiç işi gücü yok türkiyede bu çekiçiler sayesinde kaç kişi ekmek yiyor bunların yaptığı işlere aq çekiçiyi hırpalamaktan başka bir işe yaramıyor.

  • scania 2010 truck of the year

  • Don't worry, I'm sure this machine doesn't run everyday like your car

  • Well, then you know how long time you have to park your car to compensate for this...

  • Diesel burns cleaner than your gasoline car, its just that you can see the particles of diesel smoke.....if you could see your cars it would be worse.

  • chyba wtryski dają dupy;)

    nie no żart;P Scania świetna;P

  • i looked up geiger hummer didnt find one with turbo only superchargers but man they are bad ass. and i didnt realize it was german either.

  • put a chip in my truck and like i said i will still have more power and better MPG than the hummer!!! and duh its UNBURNT FUEL, omg its so bad for the enviorment...run away before it kills you.

  • Yep ..thats what happens here in the netherlands:)

  • I think he needs a new turbo.. LOL

  • oh yeah!! ahahahah

  • oh and to follow up on that for the eco idiots that dont know what a duramax is it is a diesel engine...and the hummer is a gas, and the hummer has 300bhp and my duramax has 620bhp i put chips in it to make it stronger and i still have better fuel mileage

  • for u eco nuts that think oh diesels with their black smoke are destroying the enviorment

    1. global warming isnt true some glaciers are GROWING.

2.that black smoke is sut unburned fuel..trees love it

3,and finally my 6.6l gmc duramax gets 20mpg and my dads 6.0l hummer h2 gets 9-11 mpg, that shows you the efficency of a diesel engine

  • its pulling a sled thats about 50,000 pounds.... thats no joke

  • Hey, does anyone know how much weight would he be pulling?

  • aww love a big engine and tons of smoke !!!! FUCK ALL YOU ENVIROMENTAL ARSEHOLES WHO ALWAYS WATCH THESE VIDS AND DISS THEM COZ THERES POLITION VISSBLE SO FUCK YOU ALL TOSSERS !!! MINT VID 5 ******

  • the motor will getting too hot while heavy pull the heavy trailer

  • schoones

  • thats global warming for ya...

  • have you any idea how efficient diecel engines are? im tired of people saying all the global warming bullshit. so what if it's happening? its too late to fix it now, and diecel isnt the culprit. its all fossel fuels, more on gasoline than diecel, because it is less efficient and there are more co2 molecules in its exhaust. even tobacco smoke of the same volume is more polutant than diecel exhaust.

  • That whine sounds like a dog...

  • hi could anyone tell me what the voop voop noise is thanks

  • It may be the wastegate.. im not sure

  • no .. its compressor surge, the compressor wheel of the turbo is pushed backwards because oft too high boost for that low rpm

  • Are you kidding? Means that all the turbo is pushed back because the compressor wheel is bolted to the turbine axis, That's just a myth. The true is that only the air in the turbo is scaping back between blade.

  • the wheel dosn't spinns backwards, but the rotation speed is extremly reduced, so the air can scaping back ...

  • Bravo pour la nature !!! quel jolie fumée noir !! sale pollueur

  • king of the road Scania .

  • We come to US when we want to see what our trucks were like 40 years ago.

  • that was a good one :)) funny

  • @V8Lenny Dont think all American are assholes like "wstarcummins" (not that there arent a bunch, lol).

Im an American and love our trucks, but I love European diesel trucks too! I love the sound of a Scania V8!!

I just love diesel engines and their engineering, technologies, and science!! Brand and nationality doesnt mean much to me.

    Great pull!!

  • @Xx69roadrunnerxX There's assholes everywhere around the world, especially on Youtube. I'm thinking the same as you, brand doesn't matter, this year I'm racing with Volvo White Road Boss II with Cummins L-10. A great engine but the truck is not so great, yet...

  • @V8Lenny Haha, ya youtube is mostly idiots.

Have fun with the Volvo and the Cummins diesel!! Stay safe.

  • @Xx69roadrunnerxX

Buddy, thanks for your post. I'm glad to read it, but you're not the average: you've got brains.

  • @chavesbra Its the sad truth these days...

  • @V8Lenny LOLWUT?!

  • @V8Lenny mother fucker sir. you are right. im agreeing with ya no worries

  • Comment removed

  • @V8Lenny you mean where cummins, international, cat, peterbuilt, all those trucks are now, scania was 40 years ago?

  • They are just like your cars

    big and underpowered

    Scania For Life !!!!!!

  • The origional station wagon - The great British Land Rover. Hoo Yaa

  • Yeah, good thing most of that cloud is soot which settles back to the ground... Love the sound BTW, that thing has some GRUNT

  • The best truck in the world can´t make a driver!

  • Time for the big QUESTION!

    WHAT is a real TRUCK!!!

  • That black smoke is unburnt Diesel.

This is probably caused by tweaking of the injector pump.Just incase you were wondering.

  • Scania's are nice, but a Detroit Diesel, Cummins, or Caterpillar would destroy a Scania in a pull or tug-of-war!

  • I agree 100% except for the 'scania'a are nice' part

  • I know right and I still get all those thumbs down....its a pity those Scania fans have never driven a powerful/reliable truck.

  • amen to that dude. i'm not a pro trucker and i've only driven a scania, and that was only a baby, BUT that said. the amount of scanias i see broken down and being over taken is astonishing...

  • king of the road lad ! some power in her

  • Yank tanks have their place, but, this fella' only stopped because he got to the end of the track,he could of pulled the skid through the car park on to the main road and all the bloody way home.

  • In your dreams!!!!

  • Do you need a real truck? Then use your BRAIN!!

    BUY SWEDISH(SCANIA-VOLVO)

  • Comment removed

  • pity to the scania

  • whatever

  • why watch then?

  • awesome vid!! love the smoke... there is a guy that i know who had a Ford F-350 dually with a powerstroke diesel (international 7.3 TDI) 620+ HP at the wheels, he had smoke stacks on it. when he stomped on it you could not see the back of the truck... on the tailgate of the truck it said "if you ain't got soot.... you ain't got sheeeit!!" i think that saying applies here.

  • I agree with OverDz

  • polueur de merde connerie de camion a la con de merde

  • I agree with Baugin

  • what a fuck he is doing?

  • Get life "Baugin" & get out more than just be brain washed by the powers that be, rubbing there hands for more of your money.

    Diesel

  • thats soot...it falls back to the ground and degrades fast.

  • That sounds crazy

  • think i seen a couple of trees dropping dead in the background.lol. only kidding, man i love the smell of burnt diesel.

  • Was that a 142 or a 143?

    I think it might be a 143...

  • It has to be a 143... The 142 didn´t have the Topline cab

  • It' a 143! The best series of Scania Trucks was the 3-Series

  • Yep! The most beautiful truck ever seen in Europe is the 143 500 Topline/Streamline... With straight pipes of course :)

  • I know about the 3-Series - I have a friend who has a R113M, but without the Topline cab!

  • Yeah, but the topline wasn´t standard... It´s the same as now, optional of course... Topline cab were available for all the "R" cabs in the 3-series 93, 113, 143... But the topline cab wasn´t available for the 2-series. The luxury cab in the 2-series was the "Blue Cab" with blue textiles instead of the brown/grey

  • I luv Scanias i own 1 my self no nere as powerful but queit powerful for a road going truck

  • sounds like a dog xD

  • wats that thing it pulling?

  • Because he really pushes the engine the turbo builds up really much pressure, and therefore it

has to waste the air. That makes the strange sound.

  • no you are rong there sorry mate

  • Wrong?

  • the exhaust presure to keep the turbo spinning drops when lugging down

  • whats turbo surge?

  • suuuurge

  • ive seen worse. look at chinese or american cities like shanghai or LA

  • thank you for the pollution...

  • agreed!

  • Did you know that Diesel burns cleaner and lets of less toxic particles than a gasoline burning engine? Look it up

  • good pollution !!! ;) one life we have sooo noone cares about environment !!

  • Agreed

  • Agreed

  • Somebody shoot that yappy dog.

  • 1 bosta

  • Dats a powerfull beast.rough tuff trucking woo!

  • Where can I download this vid? I need the audio track of this monster. Makes an awesome mobile phone tone :D

  • SavetubeDOTcom

  • Can`t get it working :S When I click on the download link it just keeps saying Page Ready and doesn`t start downloading the video.

    Thanks anyways..

  • Oh shit, got it working. I took the wrong video url. :D Thank you!

  • Awesome compressor surge!!!!! Sounds like a meaner louder version of my 200sx's....dang i love turbo's!

  • i love that sound it makes when so mutch presure is used :)

  • Is your penis small??? Truck Pulls rule all sports.

  • eco friendly lol brill

  • WOW this is fantastic competition :P...powerfull scania :P ^^ xaoz...

  • why do you work for them if you dont like them?

  • he probably likes money

  • RED NECKS

  • damn listen to the turbo cavitate

  • that isn't very impressive compared to what i've seen watching a sled pull in america. the torque created by our motors lifts the front of semi-trucks into the air during a pull with a 22,000lb sled.

  • słaba ta scania jest

  • I know...Americans are just fat and stupid...

  • fat and stupid... wow thats a pretyy bold thing to say. not to mention your generalizing. that alone makes you an idiot....

  • yeas and packistani fucks like u go out and drink pea all day

  • Afghanen must be on crack.

  • that is the weakest truck i have ever seen!! try a pete with a cat in it... i garauntee that would out pull that truck stock..
