I completely agree! I have spent most of my life saying I'm sorry for my existence...I even move out of the way in the grocery aisle so I won't be in someone's way! What for? It was my upbringing. I learned to apologize for everything--even being myself. And I know I'm not alone as there are articles written on the subject. I am trying to imagine a day without apologizing...I am going to try it starting now. Thank you Helena <3 <3 <3 :)
@winterpoetry - Do not try... just do it... just for today and then for tomorrow.... if you make a 'mistake' and apologize than watch my video about what to say when you screw up... it will tell you all:-)
I get your point, but it's polite to say I'm sorry I'm late. I'm sorry I bumped into you. I get the connecting with people, but I rather be polite then be like I'm glad I bumped into you, to say to a stranger lol. This almost makes no sense.
@dillpickleboocutie - You get the point my dear... and believe me, we both would be glad to bump into each other... because strangers are just friends we haven't met yet:-)
I'm so glad I watched this. I learned something tonight. I will remember to be aware of when I'm saying this again. Thank you. I completely understand your point.
@afghanmac - Thank you for sharing! It will take a while to change that habit, but if you persist, results are magical. You will see how much more confidence you will gain and people around you will learn how to treat you with more respect. Good luck and good skills!
@Gieszkanne - what a nice compliment my dear. Have you seen my "Feeling ugly?" video yet? Its a true story, so your compliment is a proof that I am doing quite well now:-)
Now I have watched it. Very interesting but I think you wasn't less attractive before your realization. And wow you was a nun, amazing. What a change of life!
Thanks Helena for your encouragement! I'm going to look for your other video now :)))

You've a great point - so much conditioning in society that prevents us from questioning WHY do I do such a thing or say such a thing.

@21stCenturyFood - Thank you so much. We are often sorry without knowing the power of those words. Yup, society conditioning
