Hey can you tell me some interesting jobs in Japan? Im going to Japan in a couple of years but I dont know any interesting jobs besides teaching english and being an engineer sounds hard...
hehe....I suppose there were probably a lot more people kickin around than in your neck of the woods. You are right...it is a cool store. I went there yesterday to look at all their Halloween stuff....hence the strange glasses at the end of the video :)
its a big thing were theres a lot of 100 200¥ coin machines and there prity cool theres every anime manga video game character avalable in the larger ones
I love those long open air shopping streets. Do they have them everywhere or just big cities? You should get a t-shirt for completing some of those walks...those things are miles and miles long. Shin sai bashi, in Osaka, in particular.
For sure. Shinsaibashi is cool, but always soooooo many people! I even saw an open air street in Akashi, which is a tiny little city past Kobe. Mind you, the one in Akashi is mostly a fish market, but they still had one!
Himeji has one too from castle to train station which is decent.
Yeh, I love Tokyu Hands as well. I stood right in that spot across from Tokyu Hands while looking for a steak house and it brings back memories. A1 is right there, but we settled on the A1 closer to the train station off that main street (if you're facing that torei gate - directly behind you). Really great meal.
Random thought... It can help to do walking tour videos right after you move into an area, before you take anything for granted. I am way overdue for a tour of my neighborhood, and it's perfect for a walking tour too.
LOL... you live near the Kansai version of Kabuki-cho. Japan invented metrosexuality, I swear.
how late is the center-gai open until?Do you know?

Japan is so dense and everywhere looks like a downtown you know. You don't really need to have a car in Japan unless you live in the countryside.
I hate American suburbia :(
Can't wait to get out of it and move to NY

Nice tour, thanks!

Glad you liked it. It was a slow morning, but in a sense, you can see the "real" Kobe....during business hours...not all flashy!

To be honest, I'm not sure what a "gashapon" shop is! I probably have seen, but just don't know the name ...

Sounds great! I could use a good steak. Is it Kobe beef? Usually Kobe beef is a little too expensive for me :)
BusanKevin 3 years ago
Yes its Kobe Beef. I was on tourist budget at the time :). I think its 70 bucks US or what 7000 Yen? Best money ever spent.
