i saw Nin live at sonisphere u.k, they werent great, another band i was pretty let down by, was linkin park. They claimed that they were going to go for the best live band title, and being a huge linkin park fan, i was really let down by there performance, as it was a half hearted performance which lacked even a smile?

To be honest, linkin park werent as good as they usually are, but they were much better than NIN at sonisphere, they did one exciting song infront of a metal crowd, "wish" and after that it was like...boring as hell? even people who were die-hard NIN fans i saw said to me that they didnt know what happened :S the only reason i stayed there was to see Metallica after at the front and THEY know how to perform live.

I don't care how annoying the plea for another tour is. I went to see Nine Inch Nails in August of 2008, and I cannot even begin to explain how amazing they are live. Their performance completely dominates any other live show I've seen. It is absolutely euphoric and intoxicating. Their love for it is completely obvious while they play.  They had the screen effects at the show I went to and it was like nothing I've seen before. It was an experience!
