i'm having trouble. i have 2 crashes, a ride, a china and a splash. I have a boom arm clamp and an arm clamp that connects to your bass drum. But i dont know what cymbal to put on which. i have 3 stands too but my best cymbal stand is a tama steel. It is very steady but it cant overhang. my others are ok but ... i dont know what stand to clamp my boom arm to. because it depends on what cymbals its gona be beside.
@chavosucks in live situations i sometimes change the way my ride is set up. I'll put the ride in front for softer/more straight forward things, and then I'll put it to the side for blast beats or dynamics. If your boom stand is sturdy enough go with the ride or splash
@nedak The 8" to,m is still there, I just got a new ec2 SST clear head to test them out a bit before I buy the whole set. Toms were a little quiet in this mix but it sounds and feels great.
@matter311 Do you like the ec2's? I love covering Tool and I love the big "juggy" sound to my toms. Would you recommend the ec2's or the coated heads?. Thanks.
