Still think the drummer from buried in oblivion was better just cause he seemed more creative and seemed to put jazz theory into metal drumming, but Steve is sick too i can't wait to see these guys live again!!!

he aint shitty he just isnt playing anything that is technically difficult, almost any drummer in a signed band is extremely talented it just depends on the style of music they have to play, you can tell he has skill b/c his single stroke rolls are very clean and he has good bell/ride alternation, not saying he is great just not shitty.

He's obviously not shitty. Seen better, maybe, but shitty means not keeping a beat. He's must be better than the average metal drummer, or he wouldn't be in Into Eternity. But for the Regina scene the bar is higher in terms of technicality (rather than musicality, which is sad). It'll be wierd this saturday at the exchange when the drummers from both of the local opening acts (Numenon and Bloodwork) are more exciting to watch. Not an insult to Steve, it's just those bands have awesome drummers.
