I commented on this stream 2 years ago and I still find your posts very helpful in understanding marxist theory. I'm attending law school now so I do not have enough time to pick up his works and read them for myself, so I thank you for making them available via youtube. But since I first came across this video I have tended to analyze everything from "rights," to the constitutional framework of the united states outlined in the federalist papers, through a Marxist lens (more or less.)
this is for us serious guys and dolls and I agree with previous comments
There are many other good sites in text only if you know how to find them
and also on world history particularly the history of WW2 both before during and after and the true stories of wars and struggles since using the workers and Marxist understanding
sailaway was right. these are some of the best videos here, I'm actually taking notes on what you are saying... which leads me to a suggestion i have for you. It seems as if you are reading from things you wrote down... would you mind posting the text you wrote? Those would be realy helpful to accompany the lectures.
Whoa! The last comment was deep. A work of art or poem not having the same function as it did in the given material conditions that it arised from in a past era. That opened up a lot of doors in my mind just now. Amazing. Never thought of it like that.
