I'd say "Houdini." It's a favorite with many fans. Not "accessible," and full of droning, which they were into at that point. But a really good album.

You might also try "(a) Senile Animal." "The Talking Horse" has one of Buzzo's best riffs ev-ah.

Houdini is awesome from start to finish.

Also, "Goggles" of the album Stag is the closest you will ever get to tripping without drugs. That song is mystically heavy. That song is the song I would use to introduce people to the Melvins.
