OR, MAYBE KANDAR WAS ORTEGA!  Think about it -- everywhere the hero goes, he keeps running into Kandar! He's a thief but he has a heart of gold, and anyway anyone who plays DQ3 has to be a thief to get the poison needle! Plus Kandar keeps letting the hero win! Maybe he's discouraging his son from going all the way to the Dark World!

(known as "dragon warrior 3 (nes)" in US), for snes.

and, video's content is "Ortega vs Zoma".

in japanese version (nes), the figure of Ortega is like this.

And WOW, the graphics on the SNES is crazy good. Animation is very nice. They should of released this on GBA. I truly love Dragon Quest 3. Though I never finished it because I got lost. (I have the remake of the game on my GBC)
