Hey guys, i bought the Ola Englund Impulses from Greg Tomoa, must say, they remind me of the sperimental pack of impulses, but way ... nicer and not so scratchy in their main sounding. 15 bucks is really worth them, it seems to be a mesa cabinet mic'ed by a condenser and a dynamic mic, 8 impulses in total.

They sound great ola, not i dont even have to sickly lowpass them anymore, they sound fucking heavy in basses, strong in the mids, and exremly soft in a orgasmic way in the highs! Thanks! :D

Damn... just don't know if I wanna shoot for this software. It certainly has a great emulated warmth that I seem to always miss with chains consisting of the free sims. I'm very tempted to get it considering it's still a fairly new release (disregarding the time beta started and it actually hit shelves)

Is Sweetwater the only place that's actually selling THE 3.5 version? Everywhere else seem to only stock the v3 for the same price plus there was a paid upgrade required to bump to 3.5 >_<

An impulse is meant to be the result of using a special measurement technique for real acoustic spaces or loudspeakers, or effects devices. Using this in a so called convolution engine (implemented in convolution based reverbs or speaker simulations) you can easily replicate the sound without owning the recorded device or space.
