He was actually practicing as taught by Wong Shun Leung. Because of height and stature, with also the exception to the dummy's size, Senior Master Tommy Yuen is actually respecting the laws that apply to the Wooden Dummy and the scientific aspects of it.

If your not training the dummy like a person, using imagination, your missing the point

Sorry, I'm not impressed. At one stage he actually bends his torso to get around the dummy. I have the feeling that this teacher sees the dummy to much as a 'person', instead of just a wooden tool to train one's structure and position.
