I'm an older gay guy and I've literally lost count of how many times that I've been physically beaten up for being gay. Some of these beatings came from my father who wanted to beat the queer out of me. The scariest part is that for years I felt that I deserved it because i was trained to hate all gays including myself.
I know what being different is like. I also know what being singled out for derision & abuse is like. I hope all of this hating will subside, but the more things change, the more they stay the same. PS I did your channel.
I like to think the world is changing and that people are more welcoming of diversity. It's certainly become a much easier world for gay people.Thank you for the compliment and sub.
I was trained to hate gays also, it's something that I doubt I can fully overcome, however, about 8 years ago I met my first gay person.
I went to see my cousin and her roommate was full on "flamboyantly" gay, after about 30 seconds of just scowling, I kind of smirked and shook my head, he sad "what" in a hurt manner. I replied, "just amused at my own absurdity" and shook his hand.
I have a mental list of ladies and kids that I play "big brother" for, he is stuffed in there with them.
I've actually been beat up by a gang of skinheads before... I am gay... this happened when I was a teenager. Turns out that a couple of the guys that were in on the beating were closeted homosexuals. One ended up committing suicide and the other lived a somewhat "normal" life. I think it's sad that our society is doing this to people... causing them to feel shame and guilt over their sexuality that is.
its actually crazy how people are these days. but then again it was a lot less discreet in the ancient times a lot worse would be done to you, and it would be quite alright. but thats one mad story bro.
Those guys go hunting to hurt gay men because it gives them a special thrill... I think they get off on it. So many homophobes are actually closeted homosexuals.

Not a flattering story, but those are the best kind. I'm a lot quicker on the uptake these days.

that story is wild, I actually may make a vid response to this. I am still debating whether or not to do a tag video, but thanks for asking me.
Take care brother.
