personally the breathing makes it more realistic to me. i mean you can't sing like that and not have to take a deep breath!! thats just not possible. it lets us know she's only human!! :) i love charlotte!! or used to before she changed styles and started smoking and drinking. its gunna ruin the voice that God gave her and it pisses me off!!!!! :\
@abbyownzemos ummm yes you definitely can because in my chorus class we are taught to breath without making barely ANY noise, you obviously don't know much about professional choral singers or even opra, you almost NEVER hear them breath, usually only pop singers breath like that.....
My chorus teacher chose this song for the chorus a grade below us, and ever since I heard it during rehearsal, I loved it! This version's a little repetitive, though. Still, awesome voice!
They have too...lol To get the full effect, but usually it's not that loud, or else I haven't ever noticed it. That's why you see people like Tay Zonday moving away from the microphone, it sounds really bad!
@nutonurface21 no no and I don't mean to be harsh either. do you sing with an opera company? a choir? are you taking lessons? I'm a soprano too. And I thought your comment was interesting.
@girldetective18 I'm a music major. I am in the choir and opera workshop/musical theatre every semester. I have a voice lesson every week. My senior recital is in April.
beutiful.... why did she change her sytle???? Nevermind that.... whenever i listen to this song i think of a gypsy lullying her baby to sleep..... i wish stuck to classical.....

who cares ... there's different styles of music, just because someone tries something else for a while doesn't mean they gave up.

@girldetective18 opera takes a lot of support, it doesn't mean you can't learn quiet breathing.

@nutonurface21 What is your singing and opera experience? I'm not criticizing, I'm just curious :)

@girldetective18 Sorry if I seemed to be harsh. It wasn't meant to be that way. And I'm a soprano.

her voice is knackered with all the strain and the smoking/drinking all affects vocal chords. Shame because she was extremely talented here
