The 5 series in this video has two circular exhausts on the left, which means that it's one of BMW's regular six or eight cylinder engines. At most it could be a 550i, which has about 360 HP.

At 200kg R1 is a lot faster, that's obvious. But it is a lot slower when turning. That's why GP can never beats F1 even though GP has a lot more accel. F1 doesn't brake that much.
