  • that was a good idea, cool music too i liked the beat

  • Wow! This is a great, simple idea. I've never realized drinking water, could donate to people without water.

    Simple, yet... smart.

  • Right, lets all donate for thirsty kids in Africa, so they'll have kids, then our kids can pay for their kids' water too..

  • What an awesome idea. It looks like my home town in australia (Perth) is doing it sometime next year

  • An Ancient Hawaiian Chant used to call on the Gods of ocean water (Kane) and fresh water (Kanaloa):

Gather, oh gather, ye hosts of godlings,

Come Kane and Kanaloa, come leafy Ohia and I'e,

    Here's water, water of life,

    Give us Life!

    Aloha to UNICEF

  • I would totally give a dollar. They are almost worthless now anyway!

  • Brilliant project! I recently saw on "Pimp My Ride" that they installed a machine that creates fresh water from air: I had never heard of that before and wondered why the product is not developped for drought regions??

  • no, none machine can "create" water from air. what it does is to take the vaporised water that already is on the air and condense it. this is already done on deserts in chile, and if you try to remember star wars' tatoine had machines of that sort. but this is not possible on certain regions on africa and the middle east, since the air is too dry. besides, if they live with $30 or less per month per (big) family, they can't afford this solution, don't you think?

  • Well Dah! No, I did not expect families to pay for these machines but a project like the one above (you know the one in the video, not Star wars right?)could sponsor a wider spread of them in the world. Thanks anyway for letting me know the air is too dry in some parts of the world for them to work.

  • ...but water supply could be stimulated in africa. i mean, if you plant a forest near the coast, it will spread to the mainland, slowly. it's a slow process, but it works. there is low rain in africa because there is no forest and vice-versa. this is a matter of political good will, and politicians don't care about people. africa is a big vicious cycle. i hope someday the situation gets better.

  • Potable water for all is far more important than fighting climate change and other politics-driven causes. I work in Africa where this is a real problem that we can do something about. Please support the program.

  • This is such an amazing project. Please spread the word and join the cause.
