I had a short stay in cebu 13 year ago and based on your posts, cebu has really transformed dramatically into a very vibrant city since then. I'm longing to the day when I can visit again this city that is dear to me. Go Cebu!!!
Data from the Department of Tourism (DOT) showed that Cebu province in Central Visayas topped the list of tourist destinations in the country, with a total of over 748,006 foreign and local visitors. The province of Misamis Occidental emerged a surprise second with 526,367 tourists, while the traditionally more popular Baguio City in the north ranked third with 441,863 travelers.
Misamis Occidental is known for its beautiful waters and bountiful fish and seafood for export. Layawan River in Oroquieta City is a constant recipient of the national environmental award, Gawad Pangulo sa Kapaligiran, as Cleanest Inland Body of Water. One other place is also drawing tourists to this coastal province -- the city of Tangub, which comes alive especially at Christmas.
dili lang tungod ani...kung di sa tourist spots!

If you think Boracay is the No. 1
tourist spot in the Philippines, you are
wrong. This year, Boracay Island in
Aklan province, has slipped down the
rankings.
