hey could you help me out with some guitar infomation anyone. I have an epiphone strat in red but on the headstock it says epiphone by gibson not just epiphone. Does anyone know what the make or model or it? All i know its a pretty darn good guitar

Take a look at the back of the neck.

On my Epi Strat is a Sticker near the Screws which says "S310-BK"

@ianybanezz They are really cheap guitars. I know of 5 that I'm thinking of picking up, all for 90-120 bucks

@Glockenator this is ianybanezz (different account), i got it a few months back and its an ok guitar(not my best one), but not bad the pawn shop guy ended up giving it to me for 50 bucks!! im getting a seymour duncan hot rail for it, for a better tone

If yours is a silver color I have the same one. Just got it yesterday from my uncle but it needs work. Need to replace the bridge and switch though.

If it's an s-300 it was made between (judging by the headstock) 1987-89. The headstock is the hockey style which was put on the original s-300s made in 1986 but it's slightly more rounded to avoid lawsuit from Jackson in 1987. If it's an s-310 it was made after 1989 because they replaced the s-300 at that year. :) I love that guitar, I am luck to get mine for free :)

I have one just like it. With white pickguard and PU. It says on the neckplate its Korean. Read somwhere that they were made in mid nineties at Samick. Its a S-310

Sweet Dean, that strat with the fx pedals has a very sweet sound - sounds like a great Rock axe .. not bad for a Strat ;-)
