In real life the spider would have died from getting hit with the bottle, tarantulas are very delicate and will die from a short fall. Then again, this is a movie and in movies you can survive a nuke to the head! lol great movie made me itchy as hell!

@1990babyface You mean these spiders in movie? Well, tarantula (these are tarantulas) can bite when you're annoying it, or if you have an aggressive kind (Poecilotheria ssp. Teraphosa etc...). But no, tarantula can't kill human.

If you want to buy a tarantula I can recommend you Avicularia ssp. or Brachypelma ssp. They're usually mild and they can be great pets! :)
