  • WOW! That's amazing!!! it actually brought a tear to my eyes...that music was very powerful. The vide reminds me of an impressionaist painting come to life...I love the sounds of the kids...I live close to a school and that's one sound I never mind hearing! :) 5 stars and favorited. Brilliant!

  • Thanks Gary. That means a lot coming from an artist. I actually found the music first and wanted to use it with some sort of motion. Then I just happened across that little playground and it all came together. Originally I had planned to use black and white and to mute the video clip but it turned out much more powerful the way it ended up. Thanks for watching. -Jim

  • Oh yeah..the way you did it with the audio is what made it perfect! The color did it a lot of good too..it almost felt like a coloring book or paint by number or something had come to life. Awesome.

  • he used and effect on imovie.

  • Very nice work there, CCT and thanks for giving away the filter. Way cool effect in this one, especially when you filmed your own shadow and waved. With the filter it looked like an actual person backlit by bright light. Again, kudos on another inventive perspective.

  • Hi Alastair. Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching my friend. -jim

  • Awesome video...ahh to be a kid again, with not a care in the world!! Thanks for sharing it! :)

  • I love to see kids playing like this. It is so wonderful!!! Big kids, too. You know you just have us all a lesson. More playgrounds=less stress! Great job, Jim!

  • Yea I guess that is a good lesson even for myself Mic. The funny thing is that I had to go through heavy traffic to get to the park but once there I just forgot about every care in the world. Thanks for watching dear. -jim

  • GREAT VIDEO, and thanks for waving at Ms Ophelia Jim

  • Hey thanks for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed it. -jim

  • I love the sounds of kids playing and laughing. You don't hear a lot of that in the streets anymore. People can't put their kids out to play on the streets like they used to! You have to go to the park now.

  • That's so true Maxxie. The times sure have changed. Thanks for watching. -jim

  • That was beautiful, haunting and poetic. A nice break from the norm here.. Thanks Jim

  • Hey Jim glad you enjoyed it buddy. Thanks for watching. -jim

  • I reckon you did really well with teh filters etc. Gave you the ability to show all the action and movement and also maintain the kids' anonymity, thereby protecting them from those who would be prone to see it in an sick manner. Good work and great on the eye. 5*

  • Hey Geoff. I really appreciate you watching. Thanks for the nice comment my friend. Take care. -jim

    ((HUGS))Jen

  • Hey Jen. I don't think we ever get to old to want to swing or play on the merry-go-round. I had to contain myself and not jump right in there on that swing set. LOL Thanks for watching dear. -jim

  • What a creative video, it was beautiful!!!

  • Hey Autungirl. That was one of those videos that just kind of clicked. I found the music, then the perfect scene for the music and then lucked into finding some new effects that made it all work together. Thanks so much for that nice comment and thanks for watching. -jim

  • Jim, you accomplished something cool with this video; You moved alot of folks' emotions.

  • Hey Ronnie. It was the music that was moving. I fell in love with the music and everything else just kind of worked with the music. Thanks for the nice comment. I really appreciate you watching. -jim

  • Hi MotherReiver. Thanks for the nice comment. I hope you're having a great week. Take care. -jim

  • Very nice video. Great work. The music moved my soul! How lovely. Jim, you should go to the park and spin around sometime. If someone thinks you the fool, they are the fool my friend. Live your life fully!

  • Ah thanks for that Marty. I have to give SSGLuceyGirl credit for the spin move. She's done that a few times in videos and I always love it when she does. Thanks for watching. -jim

  • Jim, I loved this.. I really felt like I was there!! My shadow is *waving* back to the shadow *waving* at me at the end!!!

    *eskimo kisses*

  • Great video, Jim!!! :D :D

  • Thanks Blizzeekitty. I appreciate you watching. -jim

  • Nice work showing off the artistic side Jim! And I like how you utilized the mosaic to maintain the kids anonymity. Nice touch.

  • Hey Dale. Yea, I was going to use black and white but then I tried the watercolor filter and thought it was perfect. And, it worked out perfect to conceal their identity. Thanks for watching. -jim

  • haha, my brain was thinking 'watercolor', but my exhausted body did not cooperate and typed mosaic! LOL I am too old, and these two kids of mine are too active.

    :D

  • Nice expression.

  • Hey torpedofish. Thanks. I appreciate you watching. -jim

  • This is really a work of art. Thanks for sharing this with us Jim!

  • Thanks Susannah. I'll have to give Microsoft credit for turning my video into a watercolor and Kevin MacLeod for letting me use his music which was just perfect. Hope your day was good. Thanks for watching. -jim

  • give yourself some credit for putting it together! Hope your day was good too! Was that the square in marietta by any chance? or part of the square? My great x several uncle was

the first mayor of marietta and donated the land for the square.

  • No, it was a local park. But the downtown square is beautiful in Marietta.

  • So, you picked the scene to fit the music....that's how you did it. The music fit perfectly. And I used to take my kids when they were little to a park much like that one (in Marietta BTW). Really nice video.

  • Thanks again breezin48. -jim

  • Love how you captured the kids in all their innocents. Great video Jim!

  • Ah to be a kid again, what we wouldn't give! LOL Thanks for watching darlin. -jim

  • wow! Awesome video Jim!

  • Hey Ruthe. This is one of those videos that happened quickly and on a whim. I had been wanting to do a video in motion set to music and I just happened to spot these kids playing. Thanks for the nice comment. -jim

  • Lovely, lovely. Beautiful, actually. I watched it twice to soak the feeling up real good. Perfect music, too. Thank you!

  • Isn't that music beautiful. I actually started with the music and made a video to work with it. Thanks for watching. -jim

  • Awesome Jim... I like that video effect! Nothing like listening to the kids playing! Very creative!

    Have a good evening,

    Martha

  • Hey Martha. I found that piece of music and wanted to find something in motion to use it with. Then I happened to stop at a local park and spotted all these kids having the time of their lives spinning round and round. Thanks for watching dear. -jim

  • Nice job. Just always remember there is a kid in all of us somewhere

  • Yep, I wanted to jump on the merry-go-round so bad. LOL Thanks for watching. -jim

  • Cool effects! Like a painting. Now, tell me - were you wearing socks with those sandals? - roc

  • Hey Roc. I was using the watercolors filter in Windows Movie Maker for the first time. No, I was not wearing socks. Those were just my pale legs. LOL Thanks for watching. -jim

  • Thank God. I nearly had a heart attack. Keep using sun block. - roc

  • Not a care in the world. Childhood doesn't last nearly long enough.

  • Vicky wouldn't you just give anything to be that age spinning round and round at the playground? Thanks for watching dear. -jim

  • I have this image of Jim standing around filming kids and parents looking at him like he is a kidnapper (hahahaha). Interesting video. I like it.

  • LOL Well I did keep my distance because I didn't even want anyone to think that. LOL I wanted to catch something in motion to use this music with and these kids were in the right place at the right time. -jim

  • great idea - even if I teased you...

  • Thanks Dianna. I appreciate you watching and even enjoyed being teased. LOL -jim
