@RatHett That's the point of Lifehouse for the most part - a lot of their songs can be taken in whatever way you want to, molded to your own life experiences, even though they are clearly written about God. Therefore they are putting their message into their music, without having the stigma mainstream society would put on a christian band. So many people wouldn't even listen to a band like Lifehouse or Creed if their music was purely religious.

Im just not too fond of the imagination that someone can see me whatever Im doing and trying to keep private. religion can be pretty helpful in gaining confidence, there is no way denying that, but if there is someone who knows your innermost feelings and thoughts, say hello to a surveillance society. now if that is what you desire, its alright and cool, but personally, I would like some private sphere which is one of the reasons why I refuse par tout to believe in a divine instance.

Just because something doesnt make sense, doesnt mean that it cant be the truth .

To me, the notion that religion and "god" is like some sort of fact for so many people, makes less sense than the fact that something was created of noting..

Instead of relying on some entity doing all the work for you, just because you "belive", how about looking past it all, and find the "god" within yourself.
