With a bond so strong it must have been heart breaking for the animal to lose this man in the first place. FINALLY. The gorilla forgets about the man, and starts living like a gorilla. He had to leave. The last thing you want is a wild animal to get too attached to humans. They can wander into villages and disrupt lives, as well as wander into poacher's encampments. After releasing them in the wild, it's best to make as little or no contact with them.

If you read the info at the beginning of the clip, it gives the name of the foundation (started by his father), and what they do.
