  • sooo beautiful, makes me cry. Love is eternal. Now i want to see a man reunited with a polar bear lol

  • i have to say that is so cute...

  • this is so beautiful. totally not crying

  • That gorilla reminds me of my ex girlfriend !

  • Still a better love story than Twilight

  • This crushes me every time I see it. It is such a touching mixture of tenderness and longing.

  • im an 18 year old hetrosexual fairly masculine male, and i was filling up watching this.

i feel asif i should go moisturise

  • These videos are so touching, they remind so so much of the relationship with me and my dog, He literally goes everywhere with me except the gym, the love and bond we have is just amazing, if he notices that Ive left the room or Im suddenly missing, he will literally go into panic mode searching the house till he finds me, I dont know what I would do without him, these videos are so touching if you have a ANIMAL in your life that u love very much

  • Absolutely incredible.

  • humans, lets all stop killing wild, killing the trees and killnig ourself.

  • @SecretGardenOwl ok the entire world is going to stop now and just listen to your dumb youtube comment.

  • The conclusion one should draw is that when you decide to adopt a baby animal. especially an intelligent one, you signed a contract that will last as long as the animal lives.

  • He seemed very casual and relaxed, and not all that excited or thrilled with the encounter. Dunno, guess maybe he isnt good at showing his feelings?

  • The man could of been more excited to be honest

  • this clip made me think of some one i knew years ago but when i went looking for them i found out they had died a year before i only wish i had gone looking before to find them

  • @metathus1488 i agree, nigger men dont even hold a candle to gorillas.

  • @metathus1488 ignorant and racist.

  • @bestbud11d7 why dont you go cry about it

  • Beautiful.

  • I don't agree with this sort of crap. It's a very very selfish act on the guys part to head back in to reunite with this animal. With a bond so strong it must have been heart breaking for the animal to lose this man in the first place. FINALLY. The gorilla forgets about the man, and starts living like a gorilla. He comes back and screws it all up. Sure the gorilla is happy to see him, but how long until he forgets again?

    Humans are bullshit.

  • @verticalhurt no humans are not bullshit, your just a stupid fucktard that needs to go suck start a shotgun

  • sadly many are killed by african rebels in the jungles in the cross fire.

  • the gorilla loved him so much, the guy obviously didn't handle it in the best interest of the gorilla......if i was the gorilla, i woulda been like "what a fucking prick this guy is"

  • i cried like i was a child ... love this

  • To HARLITAROSALA...The man was not neglecting him...he had to let him go and let him be wild...He left out of love.....I'm sure it hurt him too....to have the river between them.... you can see they EACH cared for the other....

  • I cried when I watched this! Amazing!

  • so so touching ,sad part the way he left him could have said goodbye you can see the love the gorilla had but this is wild and so maybe it was the best for both the way it turned out the last part said it all he went swimming they both new they where there but it said loads the guy was in the calm water represented his human life where has the gorilla was in his life the wild jungle danger that was i guess the last goodbye

  • amazing

  • I cried when I watched this! sooo beautiful!! I just love animals!

  • To everyone saying that the guy was an asshole for leaving him or not staying longer;

He had to leave. The last thing you want is a wild animal to get too attached to humans. They can wander into villages and disrupt lives, as well as wander into poacher's encampments. After releasing them in the wild, it's best to make as little or no contact with them.

  • The saddest part is the Gorilla doesn't know why he left him :(

  • @FeneGrenkle maybe or maybe not ... it's also possible G-bloke could have recognized that the man eventualy was from another family too - dont worry

  • :'( Im Crying!!!!

  • basterd eh should have spend more time

like most people here comment !!!!!

i almost led a tear drop of my face

en the odd part is im not a easy emotional person !!!!!

  • So when are you going back to see him again. A true and loyal friend like this is difficult to find.

  • this guy is an asshole, he should have stayed a day or two at least.

  • i saw this serie on animal planet or it was national geographic just beautifull his name is queby great i get tears looking at this because hyumans or so mean to each other and the animals just try to survive and wants to be loved

  • You should not have abandoned him. I would never have done so. But you must have had your reasons. Animals are very special -- even the Buddha who is known as the greatest being to walk the earth offered to trade his own life to save that of an animal. I adore animals and my closest friend was a dog. Dogs are in fact far more spiritual than most humans.

  • Wow.............amazing connection.

  • I think I am going to cry now........

  • AMAZING!!!

  • wOW GORILLAS HAVE AWESOME MEMORY, BUT I DO THINK HE SHOULD HAVE SPENT MORE TIME WITH THE GORILLA. IT FOLLOWED HIM ALL THE WAY TO THE CAMP.

  • This was really touching. Melted my heart.

  • Now the gorilla feels abandoned again. I know I do. Selfish human. It would have been better to have never gone back.

  • WOW, THIS MAN IS LIKE REAL LIFE TARZAN WITH THEM GORILLAS... BEAUTIFUL!

  • 23 people tried to raise a gorilla, but then got owned...

  • Saddest thing I have ever seen :'(

  • What kind of Monkey's are these again? I know they are a type of gorilla but what type

  • @LordEli Gorillas are not monkeys. They are two different species.

  • @issyvoo2 Apples and Orange's they are still without doubt a Fruit. And a Gorilla though not swinging from the tree's is still a Monkey.

  • @LordEli Well, no, not scientifically. We all learned this in high school, if you'll recall.

  • What the fuck idiotic perversion was that?

  • Wow. Absolutely beautiful..

  • Selfish humans, argh!

"He looked into my eyes, with such intensity, with such love..."

    IDIOT.

  • this is soo sad.. that gorilla, not lettimg him go, so obviously happy to be with him, lets go for one moment to get some raisins and the guy legs it, ignored his calls all night long, and happily swims in the other side of the lake of the gorilla the next day- total neglect! sooo sad!

  • @HarlitaRosala I dont see it like that at all. The whole point is to help this animals back in to the wild, naturally they are wild animals, and need to be left there. All in all i think the bloke just went back to see how he was getting on, to let the gorilla know he hasnt forgotten about him.

You cant keep up communication with them once they are in the wild it posses a danger to them if they get to used to human contact (his family)

Its sad the gorilla didnt let him go, but thats nature

  • @sweetness00peace - Thanks for this reply- i like your positive comment and outlook, some really good points, thanks for sharing.

  • @HarlitaRosala Exactly. I'm crying my eyes out...I'm sure he has fear not seeing him for 5 years but he can clearly feel the love from him instantly so why wouldn't he spend bit more time with him. If I were him I would cuddle him and let him know that it's OK to go back to his wives, animals are smarter than we think!

  • @HarlitaRosala The man you who you are suggesting, doesn't care is Damian Aspinall of the Aspinall Foundation. They are a charity that works to protect rare and endangered animals and rehabilitate confiscated animals and return them to the wild, among other things. They have projects all over the world. To assume he doesn't care("ignored his calls all night & happily swam on othe side of the lake") is ridiculous. This is his lifes work. And you can clearly see he was moved to tears at 2:57

  • @Msdistarr I have been reading all the comments calling this man an asshole, strictly on the basis of a 4 minute clip. There is no possible way to know how much time he spent with the Gorilla. If you read the info at the beginning of the clip, it gives the name of the foundation (started by his father), and what they do. That should have been enough to realize, this is a man who truly cares. He's out there helping these animals while people sit at home behind keyboards, insulting him.

  • @Msdistarr why isnt this the top comment

  • @birdy20034ever Thanks for your reply. I get truly pissed off that people find it so easy to sit and insult others. And it becomes so accepted by others as normal behavior. These people that insulted this man, I wonder what they have done lately, to make this world just a little better place to live. They certainly haven't done it by writing insulting comments without giving it a second thought. Especially against this man. That would be my thought on that. Thanks for listening.

  • @HarlitaRosala

The gorilla is not a pet. Although he has a close bond with Aspinall, he still has to live in the wild with his family. He seems to be thriving as a wild gorilla, which is a major goal of the Aspinall Foundation.

  • @HarlitaRosala well yes its sad but the man must be scared. i mean its a 400 pound animal that could crush his skull like a grape

  • @HarlitaRosala He's wild animal man, he got to let him go.

  • It's nice to be reminded why I'm alive. Life is a wonderful thing.

  • This video has got nothing on Christian the Lion!!!

  • Awesome! I would never have been able to leave.

  • how beautiful,Im wiping away tears

  • Its as if they Animals are becoming human!!

  • This is so touching, so amazing and so sad!

  • "he's a lovely boy"

  • Beyond amazing

  • Where did these onions come from?!??!

  • is it just me or does this guy look like christopher reeves?

  • I kinda agree that it's a bit cruel to find him just to leave him again.

But I also want to say...

Can you imagine this sort of thing happening with chimpanzees? I certainly can't. Gorillas truly are gentle giants compared to the violent, id-driven chimps.

Still wouldn't be a good idea to approach a gorilla in the wild though.

  • fuck...i think im gonna cry or something

  • well, thats the new king kong reboot wrapped up

  • Perfect.. You put him back in his world and he appreciates it!!!

  • Cruel bastard, its been 10yrs and you go there to see him to float your own boat just to leave again ASSWHOLE

  • @LeoYoungMusic I"m pretty sure it was only 5yrs and they got him back cos the gorilla had roughed up a few people looking out for them and they were concerned about the gorillas well being.

  • i like how cannibas is in the tags

  • Im in LOVE with this vid. So cute.

  • Hey Dad I got you some raisins! Dad? Where you going? DAAAAAADDD!

  • TARZAN!!!!..

  • some emotional stuff

  • I love this too,

and makes me think how we can all give a lending hand

to all animals even the ones right where we live stray cats

and dogs, they are all so incredibly smart...

  • Am amazed at the comments that vary from being impressed with the connection to the polar opposite and poke fun at it. It takes all types for sure, but I think I am going to stop reading comments posted below these videos, I can live without the sarcasm that outnumbers the good.

  • Can you imagine? To have that kind of connection? It's simply beautiful.

  • how sweet :]

  • Throw food if "it" kicks-off... What a 'charming' man.

  • @RoonJazz Not to defend the bloke otherwise, but I think that with "it", he is referring to "trouble" in general, not to the gorilla. "If it kicks off" is certainly a British phrase meaning "if there's any trouble". They did mention earlier that there had been "attacks".

  • is this how HIV came to be?

  • This has to be one of the most touching and amazing things i have ever seen in my life, Makes me happy to see lifes great gifts. You cant buy sell or get this kind experiece any where. Stop looking at your fucking iphone and look around, its a beautiful world! Look what we have been given!!! Thanks phill for sharing big fan.

  • Wow very sad.......

  • this made me kinda sad D:

  • I know this is corny but, maybe if there is a Heaven this is what it's like. You reunite with the loved ones that you lost. I'm not religious but it's ok to dream. This video just makes me feel more.....human.

  • "The man was sure it was the same gorilla, he approached it, and soon was standing right next to it. The gorilla looked the man straight in the eyes and proceeded to rip all his limbs off as well as severing his head. Probably wasn't the same gorilla."

  • @xoxoalice324 yup... kind of weird but what you gonna do

  • the raisin bit was so funny and the bit where the monkey put it's finger up

  • Holy crap!

  • 2:26 Wife is giving the finger.

  • i hate mokeys/ all primates

  • @WiNdBuRn1000

O.O....*raises index finger and opens my mouth to say something*....*slowly closes my mouth and puts my hand down*....okay.

  • @GodofBrownies that's what I thought of, too :)

  • This is like that Lion video with those two guys a long time ago

  • Seeing the guy in the river made me think of the vsauce2 leanback on parasites... I did get kinda scared at that moment 0_o

  • So much aaaaaaaw!!!

  • selfish of you> You should have been happy that he was fine--why confuse him? What do you think he was feeling? Selfish.

  • stop it your making me feel things :)

  • you know what I find funny? or sad? when you racist people will call me and people that look like me apes, monkeys, gorillas or my fave chimp, as in chimpout. Then have the fuckin' nerve to watch a video like this and have so much feelings for the real apes, monkeys, gorillas. You people are full of absolute shit and I hope I'm around to see each of you burn. DID THAT MAKE YOU CRY?

now a few words from the peanut gallery..

  • @screwface1011 That was so mean dude.

  • beautiful :')

  • havent seem the guy in three years, must not let him go... oh look, raisins!

  • Caesar...is....home.

  • 1:12 watch closely from here to a couple seconds, the gorilla smiles.

  • brilliant

  • How cruel to reintroduce yourself only to leave again...

  • @Dougster I think the gorilla knows he himself belongs in the jungle even after living with man for 5 yrs, and he probably knows that man belongs in man's world. He doesn't seem upset at all, just happy but let him go without a fuss.

  • @Dougster beter than not having any contact whatsoever,

  • @Dougster I felt my heart sink to see this in the video, you are right! He's very obviously attached to the man like a child to it's parents. I imagine the gorilla must have felt pain for him to detach (when he turned his back no less) I rememebr something like that happening with my attachment figures and it only made everything worse!

  • @Dougster .. i agree

  • did the gorilla at 2:26 just flip them off :D

  • @qwerty12345756 Fuck man, I really lold for the first time in a while. The sad music just made it!

  • Curious george ?

  • Caesar!! D:

  • All this video needed was titanic music and James Cameron to kill them both off.

  • he was just yelling out "I've got KFC"

  • 22 people have no soul

  • This is pretty fucking kewl BRO!

  • NATION COMING THROUGH

  • this brings back memories of when i was little my favorite movie was tarzan

  • animals have souls, humans dont

  • @666VitaminE Are you retarded?

  • @zolevokpk ur dads are retards for adopting you, faggot

  • @666VitaminE isnt it time to slit your wrists now? o and remember its up and down not left to right

  • @kingbigdawg9 Why you saw your mommy doing it after she gave you birth?

  • he had orgy with those gorillas

  • wait, was that gorrila smiling?

  • @052yo I hope he wasn't baring his teeth.

  • Childhood friend? it was 5 years, not 30

  • @BKInbound When he was 5 years old he took him back to the wild...

  • @sanzoghun yeah, the gorilla was 5 yrs, not the man

  • @BKInbound Yes, the man is a childhood friend to the gorilla

  • @sanzoghun then they should probs change the title :P

  • why would any one dislike this video?

  • @Salgadoman1

sociopaths would dislike this, because they are unable to feel such things like love or connectivity.

  • We are not so different. Love is the one Universal constant that bonds us with the Animals.

  • this is so sweet and sad

  • I normally hold them back, but now my manly tears flow freely..

  • This is why, I do not understand the Bible, how can "god" grant humans dominion over all animals when you see things like that, oh how similar we all are.

  • That. Is. Amazing <3

  • Comment removed

  • tiger story is much better, but still pretty nice

  • @sylta09 That's exactly what I was thinking while watching this, lol.

  • i want a gorilla friend

  • "Childhood friend gorilla"?? The guy's like 35. Not sure if 30-year-old still qualifies as child. Still beautiful though. =)

  • too bad humans can NOT be like this wild animal! So SO sad comment on "human" nature

  • he was like "yo ma NIGGA! where u been?"

  • Why is there Cannabis in the tags? 0.0

  • i want to watch more is there another video

  • Here come the tears...

  • That was beautiful.
