Here we go a different point of view:- For past several decades our Movies and Dramas have been showing the police men as a comic characters. For example “Ai Auto Movie” Mohanlal’s character The poor public think that they can dictate the police man just like the heroes in the movies treat the policeman. In real life police is so different. So don’t take movie hero attitude towards the police. They will teach you a lesson.
All the media treat them with contempt. All the governments (filled with scum politicians who might have been beaten up by police during their political strike to achieve their goals) consistently ignore the welfare of the police force. 24 hours they work, they do not have a decent salary or accommodation.
You cannot generalise all the police force. Generalising the police by the stupid pubic is the big mistake. This leads them to have a similar mindset when no one is there to appreciate their good work.
You only get back what you give to them. All our departments and every section of our societies have people who misuse and abuse their power. And you are also a part of this society. So you cannot expect a clean police from a selfish and scum society. When the whole society improves you could also see the reflection in the police force.

A stupid auto driver overtook my car at the central junction through the left side and broke the wing mirror, while a policeman was watching this. I stoped the car and complained to him, but to my surprise, he let the auto go and told that I cannot stop there and will charge a case against me unless I drive off at once. I started the car and the auto driver was waiting with most abusing words.

@jalexrosh And what the cop did to that guy 's kid was way to barbaric. The kid must have been very upset and worried with what the cops were doing to his dad and this eda poda vili will only stop once people stop calling these cops 'saar'. Why dont people address them as inspector,that way no disrespect and no undue respect.
