I live in Austin, this was part of the two night event where they played the blue album and pinkerton in its entirety. It was sold out in a day... The next time they come into town i hope they pick a bigger venue! pleeeease!!!

Uh he wasn't bored. He brought back the song because he loves it and still finds it to be emotionally powerful. Trust me... He was incredibly into this as well as the Pinkerton set that night. He's more bored doing the hits these days.

Good, good. Glad Rivers brought what was probably his most emotional song out of mothballs just so he could arrange it as blandly as possible. He couldn't sound more bored if he tried. Just great. Keep it up.

Strange how Rivers who's not a drummer played a way the fuck cooler beat for this song back in '95, but super session dude Josh had to go and play the straightest most generic boom boom ka part. Still cool, still cool....>.>

This has been one of my favorites for so long, and you have no idea how happy it makes me to hear such a thought-out, more finished version than we've had before. MUCH better than the version released on the deluxe Pinkerton, and closer I think to the one I heard long before that (same as the one on Alone? Not sure). Thank you, so much.

@CliffRichardsPissSac but it is a concert. if you've ever been to one, weezer concerts are always really high in energy, so I can see why they did this version of the song.
