@seankof ROFL, I grew up there too, till I forever left Menton, the French Riviera, and France altogether back in 1988... Though it is a nice city, it is by no mean a "cool" town for the youth, or productive crowd. It's the perfect retirement spot though... The French version of Florida :D
I was in menton during my july2007 summer holidays and it is such a magnificent town....So peaceful and quiet...I remember that by 10:30 pm no one was outside!!!So peaceful.... i loved it!!!
I remember a disco in Menton that went on all night & the roof opened to show the stars. I then walked along the beach back to the camp site on a warm summers morning. great memmories of 1981
