I am a proud American, but how in the hell did our government use that incident to justify bombing Serbia? Serbia had an internal problem. Kosovo was not and is not offically an independent nation or in or protected by nato. So there for nato had no right to interven. Serbia was trying to keep its nation whole. NATO bombing Serbia over Kosovo is like Russia or China bombing the United States if one of its states were trying to break away

The reason for this move by the U.S. is simple - territorial conquest - eliminate the more outspoken people (here the Serbs) by dropping depleted Uranium cluster bombs (!) wherever you can to reduce the Serb population, letting the more "mold-able" people thrive

In most societies the majority rules...that's called democracy. Yugoslavia was always a somewhat loose confederation because of the age-old ethnic rivalries...Serbia tried to interfere in the other republics and they successfully rebelled
Kosovo was always majority Albanian speaking and they had a much higher birthrate than the Serbs so it really never should have been assigned to Serbia in 1913 but rather assigned to Albania.

Kosovo struggle isn't about Islam because Albanians are not very religious people...that's why Catholics and Orthodox live happily in Albania.
90% of the people in Kosovo speak Albanian and have since 1725..
The US Govt. was on the right side to help the Kosovans get their independence...especially considering how Milosevic abused the Kosovan people.
Western Macedonia is mainly Albanian speaking....that should also go to Albania.

The US has about 6 or 7 million muslims. Most of them are fine peaceful people.
We generally americanize most of them.
If the Europeans didn't want any muslims in Europe ...the why did they let them move there? Most of them are there legally.
