  • BTW: No snakes in Ireland! St. Patrick chased them all out!

On a side note though. Rain starts out with tiny specks of dirt I believe, and the the water in the clouds collects around it, until it gets too heavy, and then falls to the ground. So each drop of rain does have dirt in it. At least that's what I've heard.

  • Hi Don,

loving your videos. I'm slowly making my way through them all. I was watching the Expert Village ones a while back before I finally started my business, but I much prefer your videos. They are a decent length, personable and informative. The EV ones are way too short. It's annoying.

  • at 1:10 you say rain don't get windows dirty but you get water marks left after the rain dryes,it's an insult to the customers to clean them during the rain coz they have to pay out,you must keep customers happy,

  • @Terrythestud He's right, I'm a window cleaner in UK- where it rains most of the year. I mostly use Water Fed Pole, and for my peace of mind I clean my own windows in the rain to keep a check on my performance, they are always spotless all weathers. The main reason I use this system is pure water doesn't leave a soapy residue like a squeegee does so that when rain lands on it, it simply runs off and dries clearly. I guarantee my work anyway, so if Mrs Angry isn't happy, I do the windows again.

  • I liked your video on Ladderless Window Cleaning. I understand why you disabled the comments (I would have too). I just want to make this point: we have several high end window cleaners out here. Some do WFP but, GASP guess what?! They STILL use the scrubber and squeegee. Same thing with the type of people that clean skyscrapers, still squeegee and scrubber. (I'm sure they could figure out a way to use WFP). So, obviously, the WFP is NOT a cure all. KEEP WASHING DON!

  • Don your videos are awesome. Please keep up the good work.

  • Sounds like your area of expertise. I've only killed one snake, and it was a bad idea to go after it. I was nearly killed in the process. I just avoid them altogether.

  • I always tell them, "Clean windows don't spot; you get spots in dirt." Actually, the wind makes them dirty. And admittedly, you do sometimes get a lot of wind in a bad storm. Other than that, the only people who have to worry about it raining after washing windows are those with old-fashioned white-wash on their wood siding, the kind that rubs off on your clothes when you lay up against it.

Why don't you do a video telling how to avoid snakes while washing windows. I kill several every year.
