Hi just wondering, i thought once the bird is attached to another bird, they would not be close to their owner anymore, is that true? cuz thats what happened to my cousins love bird. And i got a blue parrotlet

which gender of Parrotlet do you recamend? I would like a female but she lays eggs and might think she needs to brood them but a male doesn't lay eggs but they do sing little love songs,right?
@mystuff789 both boys & girls are nice. I'd say boys are more vocal - chirp/sing more, but the females I find are very sweet since they are more sensitivve & if you bond with a female they just love u to death ;)
eeeeeeee So CUTE!! I feel like waking up my parrotlet so that we can go to sleep together again too, but sigh, late night projects. It's the sleepy times like this that make me say "this little monster can't do no wrong."
@BabyKittyBirdie thanks.....haha, if kooliad starts getting scratches from smokey, he'll have his buzz cut back again (smokey was grooming him too much)
Koolaid was being taken care of by my friend cuz i had a big test to study for, and he was being very Loud at the time. She cared for him very well, as he came home a bit quieter and tamer :)
@RectangularBird i know!! they were so cute when i was filming this & my camera battery died! so i charged it frantically for 10 min & they were STILL at it...

@lingsinlingsin that's sort of true..unless you sepearte them and they are in different homes, they will bond with you again. I assume..

@MsDjMAC koolaid was being very loud and they were fighting a lot. my friend took very good care of koolaid & he came back sweeter :)
