I play the guitar myself. And I'm into using high technology to make music (connecting stuff to your computer) such as drum machines, midi keyboards and some different really progressive stuff like these pads... This applies to sampling and making beats mostly... But this? I find this to be a controversial decision, and really don't like the sounds you get out of it. And the point.

hey man, just a thought, is there a form of xy midi that can be mounted on top of a guitar, the writing brought through though.. The reason i ask is i'm going to be modding my les paul standard....putting in a kent armstrong in the bridge and a fernandes sustainer in the neck... I really love this guitar to pieces, so i would rather not bore a hole into it, but i would do anything else no bother. Also, thumbs up on your mod, i really love it

you dont need a third arm, u need a sustainer pick up to sustain a note, and then ur arm is free to do whatever u want it to do (aka the kaos padd), u dont need to be playing a phrase to use it.

Some weird effects? I think your mental health must be checked. People have use effects on guitar for 50 years. This pad is a posibility for everyone to use effects such as wah, flanger, phaser, delay, sustain, loop, and 50 more without spending 10000 $. In 4-5 years there will be a pad like this made specialy for guitar use with USB and a website or more from which you will download effects. In your language that means that you will not buy a BOSS distortion but download it from the web.

Your basicly extending the wires that connect the Pad to the Kaoss body. It goes, Guitar to Kaoss pad body input then you can have it going to amp, or headphones if you want etc..

its possible to install any effects into a guitar. but a pandoras would fallow a complete different wiring. i dont think you could make the pad control it. you could probably just have the pandora box itself where the pad is.

I wouldn't say it's a substitute, it's a good way to introduce new sounds into songs. Matthew Bellamy for example will only use for 10 or 15 seconds at most in a song, and only in a couple songs.

What effect is that at 3:11? It's like some delay or echo plus idk what else but you could do some cool crap with that one effect alone. I'm getting a KP3 Kaoss Pad soon (not for in my guitar I'm gonna keep it seperate) but the band I'm in, we play alot of metal music, and we get inspiration from Slipknot (their DJ, Sid Wilson uses a KP2 Kaoss).
