  • This is soooo cool to see them getting attention. I remember about 1000 days in the mid 90's when I would make trips to the HOG (House Of Guitars) and hang out. One of these guys was always working. zOMG I miss those days!

    Long live the HOG.

  • Awesome crowd. They look super pumped up.

  • 60's? These guys look more like 70's.

  • they are getting spinal-tappy old...

  • @tattypatty YES! Very much so! The last album is awful! That song "Rise and Fall" sounds like Puff Daddy!

  • this band is effin awesome!

  • I was in the muxic store and I like old type rock, and like I was going to buy me some lennon, hendrix or the who but then I saw their cd sitting their called Paschadelic Sunrise and I was like, hmm.. looks like I'd enjoy it, and I loved it!

  • If you enjoy this band, you will fall in love with the "swingin neckbreakers". Just awesome.

  • we saw them free at the lilac festival i have the video posted if youd like to see it.They rocked..dan cherry picss..batavia ny

  • Ripped off kraftwerk? Are ya on crack?

The kings rock harder than Rainman on a

hobby horse. If thier guilty of anything

it's listening to Nuggets one too many

times. Not a bad thing if ya ask me.

  • Sorry, I was referring to Coldplay steaing the melody line from "Computer Love."

I think I posted a comment somewhere else about being blown away seeing the C.K.s' video for "99th Floor" on Night Flight in the mid 80s.

Plus I even tried smoking Chesterfield Kings once just because of them (bloody awful cigarettes, but cool package).

  • mind yer nackers...

  • These dudes who post negative comments about The C. Kings don't get them at all. That meathead CountryardPigeon doesn't understand that singer Prevost is an over the top Jagger since many garage bands in the sixties were copying Jagger and doing the same thing. Jagger was a rock and roll idol to thousands of teenagers back in the sixties. That is Prevost's schtick or persona. Some of you morons posting negative comments are ill informed and don't see the humor in this band at all.

  • PREVOST is the blond guy

  • prevost is the singer

    babuik is the bassist

    etc, etc.

  • You are correct sir..........I am thinking of Greg Provost...a writer and another band from 60s.

  • Most of you people have no clue what this band is about. Maybe you're too damn young. In the Sixties, there were lots of so-called "garage bands." They were a precursor

to the punk bands of the late Seventies and allowed kids to form bands with little equipment and musical training. And a lot of them were great, if only for a song or two.

(Check out the "Nuggets" compilation.) The

    C. Kings, along with bands like the Cynics

and the Lyres, are keeping this great music alive. Pure rock.

  • This song is a shameless rip-off of the Mockingbirds' "You Stole My Love"!

  • this is sick for how old they are, their first album back n the day i fucken awesome. kinda sound like ramones mooody 80s stuff to anyone?

  • borrring

  • Well whats your favourite band then dude?!

  • obv. coldplay...

  • Bunch of plant pots! No energy or charisma!

  • do three fullstops not mean anything to you people

  • Plus they ripped off Kraftwerk

  • Trust me, nobody rips off Kraftwerk. maybe The Normal, but not Kraftwerk. Anyway, those were interesting times and influence could have come from a stray dog`s arse.

  • Wow, this is bad. Could this guy try any harder to be Mick?

  • Makes a change from everyone trying to be like John Lennon, don't you think?!

  • I'll take that "60's garb." over any other genre you throw at me. Learn good music.

  • Cool tune; nice Rickenbacker solo...don't see much of that nowadays. Anyone else think the drummer looks like Nigel Tufnel?

  • Saw these guys with the New York Dolls and SuperSuckers and they SUCKED out LOAD. They were awful.

  • these guys need to focus on writing more simpler catchier songs like this and a bit less on the "60's garb."

  • Whoa! Ori is missing on keyboards. :(

  • have to agree, catchy chorus indeed! I recomend the disc takes me back to a simpler time and place!!

  • Great song,The chorus has been stuck in my head all day.

I seen these guys for the first time 11-20-06 in Boston,Great high energy show.
