  • you have a good point an eye for a eye makes the world blind

  • With respect to capital punishment, it should always be confronted with ethics, not empirical data. If I told you the rate of rapes and child molestations went down from 8% annually to 2% because of enforced castration as a capital punishment. Does the empirical data mute the ethics of the issue of forced castration? If you sacrifice ethics in favor of empirical data, you are in direct opposition to human nature and human rights. You did however make an attempt to take both into account.

  • I disagree with your comment on licensing people to have babies, that sounded like a Eugenicist viewpoint. If our ancestors had expressed such hysteria over the potential of people abusing such basic human rights, free thought would be nonexistent as would YouTube or the Internet for that mater. Keep that in mind before you start talking about other people's inalienable rights. The ones you think everyone else takes for granted.

  • I am a man and and I am 100 % for phyical castration of men who rape people.. I don't want it to be reversed. if it were up to me, they would be sentanced to death but dead people can't suffer once they are dead so I want the rapist to suffer.. castrate them ALL !

  • @MrKellysCorner

    I agree 100%

  • I don't condone the act of mutilation against any person, not for any reason. I would rather focus on what causes people to commit crimes in the first place and eliminate factors early.

You're right about punishments of this sort not doing anything. Even if sexual temptations are the main factor, physical removal of any part of a person's body is just plain wrong.

Punishments should be corrective treatments only, problem is that most people do want revenge :(

  • @kicesie A tip of the hat to you. Despite your experience, you are able to approach this subject in a very academic, rational and objective manner. You truly are a rare gem :-). And I totally agree with you about separating "Punishing offenders" with "Getting revenge on offenders". I grew up in a hell hole of a neighborhood and saw first hand what cycles of vengeance lead to. Also, reading the Icelandic Sagas makes you really grateful that criminal acts are "sentenced" rather than "Avenged"

  • I'm in favor of castration for rapists, pedophiles, & violent men. Societies best interests scream that this be done. As women get more & more of a voice in this world, & gain more & more power, eventually, castration will become as common as circumcision is now. It wil be done humanely, of course, because that's the way females are. Nicole

  • if sexual assault is a crime of violence then could the cure be to stop them from being violent, like anger-management, or some other institution or mental instability.

  • The only way to stop these people is to either execute them or give them a penilectomy.

  • Surg Castration First offence in the Jail house upon being arrested! Word Will get out that as a guy does physical harm to someone, he does not have the balls to be a man, my two cents worth. Cut them balls off!!!

  • Do you know these videos can harm your chances of getting a job in the future? There are some about oral sex and shit like that. Employers are using the net to research job applicants. Although I would hire you with that nice front rack of yours. It is really a distraction. I watched the whole video and I have no idea what you talked about. :-)

  • @jmwwd Since I already own my own very successful business, AND my career is going to be in Sex Education, it's not going to hurt my job opportunities at all. The CDC (!!) had me come speak at the bi-annual conference. Public health departments from all over contact me for advice on how to develop a presence in the social media field.

I'm very respect among my peers in sexual education.

    So gtfo my videos.

  • kicesie, what percentage of your viewers are men? You need to take that into account. It might be that 90% of the viewers that support castration are men because most of your viewers are men. If 95% of your viewers are men, it turns out that a higher percentage of your female viewers support castration.

  • @HyperSpify According to Youtube's Insight program, about 75% of my viewers are male.

  • Most sex-offenders have been molested themselves when they were children. So the answers lies not necessarily with castration all of the time but the ways to alter not brainwash but alter one's perception of how to deal with sexual deviance. We also have to ask ourselves what is the age of consent and if it was consentual. Can we change the sexualized ego driven person to become a better citizen or (example) without dehumanizing either the victim or perpetrator. wikipedia-world age of consent

  • @MrKittrider2000 I'm not real sure what you're trying to get at with the whole age of consent thing. I fully agree with the way most states handle it, being if you're under 16 and there is more than a four year difference, it's statutory rape. A 20 year old has way too much influence over a 15 year old even if it's 'consensual', it really can't totally be because they are in a position of power.

I do believe that this type of rape must be treated totally different than 'normal' rape though!

  • I frown at the idea of castration. What does a person think about the age of consent or the age where you go from child to adult. Various countries and states within the U.S. have their own age of consent. Although we are talking about rape, and assault; does it play into any consent sex. Rape in prison is bad, rape of a woman is bad. What we need to change is how we deal with victims as well as perpetrators. Violence starts within childhood and gets magnified when someone makes a big deal

  • Castration cures pedophiles

  • do you think castration works now i know this video was made awhile ago

  • @neiljohneastment I hold the same opinion I did then.

  • I`am castrated. not by state or authorities and not for agressive behavior.

by my girlfriend who wanted that never a woman would love me like she did.

I´ve read all i could about castration and post behavior, chemical disorder and a lot of waste. fact is that castration makes man smoother. without disfunctional.

even the mind changes. agressive behavior is past.

please castrate all agressive to create a better world

    thanks

  • @fuzek I have seen castration on youtube; although I am somewhat against it not totally; I feel that castration can work two ways against sexual deviant aggressors. It can halt aggression yes, but it can also create depression depending on the individual. Unless the castrated person has a really GOOD support network he may decide to commit suicide one day because it may make him feel less of a human or an outcast from society. It can have good effects or bad depending on the person!

  • If you were insane should they make you brain dead? no you need treatment.

  • How is that going to change a rapist they are mentally unstable so thats not going to do anything. Its in their brain not testes. Its just like a murderer if you lock them up for 15 years they will still be a murderer when they get out of prison. It wont change anything If you castrated the the hillside rapist/killer he isnt going to stop killing its embedded in their brain! and some killers get sexual satisfaction by watching people die like the zodiac.

  • yeah and take away their weapon and if they fuck around take their best weapon the brain

  • A vast number of sexual assult case are proven to without merit. Many other factors play into charging a good man with sexual assult. A detailed study in New Jersey over 47 months demonstrated that 47 percent of police file reports for rape, and sexual assult were unsustainable in court and/or review. Further of the 53 percent of the case taken through the legal process close to half were found innocent. THERE IS JUST TOO MUCH OPPORTUNITY IN THIS "SHE SAY HE SAY" SITUATION FOR ERROR>

  • @Barbiebnymph Just because American attitudes on rape ('She had to have done SOMETHING to deserve it/cause it/bring it on') are so misguided doesn't mean that statistics are right. The FBI annual stats hold steady that falsely reporting a rape is just as common as falsely reporting a murder or other serious crime.... somewhere around 2-4%.

  • @shocktreatmenthead I am also a man and I agree. Whether it's sexual or not, they are sexually harming another person. I don't see castrating sex offenders as revenge. I see it as saving a lot of women who are the unfortunate victims of a heinous crime that can scar them for life.

  • I'm a man & for castrating male rapists. Also they should get life in prison.

  • u got it gurl

  • Recidivism rates for chemical/physical castration of sex offenders shows that castration does NOT work to reduce rates. The concept is borne out in animal studies and in the experience of any horse farm owners where gelded horses can still get erections and have sex with mares in heat! Bravo.

  • Wow, Vary smart, good girl. I'm impressed.

  • This videographer thinks UK is the same as USA. People of UK are known as "Subjects". People of USA are "People with Rights". Comparison cannot be made.

  • This is very true in my opinion. This is really well-done, and very inspiring.

  • I agree cutting of the balls or whatever does not solve the problem at all. It would just maybe satisfy the victim which should not be part of the justice dealt. I disagree that we need a liscence to have children because the goverment should not be able to say who breeds thats like what the nazis did. It is terrible that people who are not responsible have kids but controling them would take away everyones freedom.

  • Rather than suggesting a permanently disabling consequence for first-time sex offenders that does not necessarily make subsequent offences impossible, I would suggest a strong and traditional form of deterrence and punishment that has been shown to reduce sex crime in nations such as Malaysia and Singapore where it is still in use. I am suggesting that men who sexually or physically abuse women be subject to caning, whipping, or strapping (done humanely as possible) in a addition to a jail term

  • That is EXTREMELY well written. Do you mind me asking what you do / your profession or background?

I commented to ntusolog about my concerns with much harsher punishments (a MUCH lower conviction rate). Do you think that would happen?

  • My worry is that it would require so much more to get a conviction. As it is far less than 20% of rape trials end up prison time as it is; with such extreme sentencing, the conviction rate would plummet to less than 5% I bet.

    Any thoughts?

  • They infest and torment their victims with (potentially agonizing and fatal) trauma, pregnancy and/or disease an atrocity explicitly outweighing murder in severity and due judgment. If execution is sufficient penalty for drug-trafficking and treason, then it is the bare minimum for crimes of sexual invasion and subjugation.

  • The big head should control the little head, IF IT KNOWS WHATS GOOD FOR ITS LITTLE BUDDY?

  • Why not lock the comments....to just people who have been raped, on the streets or prison! .....Or close counts sister, mother, or brother, how are they living with the fact?( I've been used abused and may have an STD or AIDS...how do I live with this?) These people have been mentally CASTRAIDED some never recover their whole lives!

  • Castration shouldn't be used in cases of (I hate to trivialize it) "regular" rape. Please forgive the term, I can't think of a better way to differentiate it from child rape, which I think absolutely warrants castration. The rape of an adult while terrible is just not the same thing as the rape of a child, and the punishment must be likewise different. I think extended jailtime and a life on the sex offender registry is enough for a "normal" rape, but not enough for one who would rape a kid

  • you are pretty girl grts

  • Your video's are great. Thank You.

  • I agree with your statement that not everyone should be a parent. Too many people are parents that are not ready and really do not even try to get better at it. Parenting is way more serious than what it is given credit for. Great Videos!

  • I've seen your other videos, namely the rape one. I feel for you because I've been there too. but I disagree. Personally I don't think people who can ruin someone's life have the right to live. I don't. But, That won't happen.

Plain and simple. WON'T. They should be locked up into that cell for the rest of theirs. If you use something as a weapon, then it should be taken from you.

But... I have to admit that I answer this with memories vivid in my mind. Rage in me heart.

  • Fuck them pedophiles, they never learn-I think the castration method suits them well.

  • I must totally disagree. I think that most sex crimes are indeed sexual in nature and that all sex offenders should be castrated.

  • You are awesome girl!

  • She is right speaking of rape as control. People say "they're violent." How do you want to play, "God" ? How do you decide violent people who use fear and intimidation as control, should be treated. People found guilty of a crime should be punished. Cutting off body parts ? Who is the deviant now ?

  • the suggestion is crazy for the same reason capital punishment is wrong. if someone's innocent then how do you take the punishment back once you've administered it? you can't, simply. there are occasions where some women lie about being raped to get what they want and get revenge about something.

  • some people love pain

  • holy fuck you look good

  • i think its very simple-minded of you to say thats castration is just meant for revenge...

if they know there will be severe consequences 4 their actions, rather then a bit of jail time, regardless to any mental state, i seriously doubt they would want to put themselves through that...

assuming castration make them more violent, what do you think long-term jail would do to them?

  • we should put every GODDAMN rapist in a slaughter house! Rapists are perverts and are pedos! we should torture every rapist by lashing some of them and slicing their penises off, blowing their testacles off with a shotgun, and having see what its like to get raped! Men are always mean to us! ! they're violent idiots ! and I as a female with morals I proudly stand up and say all of this!

  • wat they deserve rather than just givin them a reason 2 hurt people with as u sed with even more dangerous things and letin them get more angry...

  • an agreement with u sayin that they shudnt b stopd from recievin sexual pleasure but maybe people that assault people i hope that they see wat they did n r haunted by wat they have done evrytime ehat they want 2 have a normal relationship with sum1 personally i believe that if they have 2 live with those memories n it hurts them i wud rather that then just take away thier erectile functions

bcos they psychologically affect thier victims n i no that that is the worst thing in the world n its

  • I can see where this might scare the men and make them think twice about sexual assualt. I am so glad that you brought up the part about what actually constitutes the type of offense that would make castration the punishment, and that you touched on why this type of punishment shouldn't be taken as the person who committed the crime already has a mental issue. First thing I thought of; what if the person is actually convicted, they castrate him, and then find years later that he is innocent.OOPs

  • My former criminology instructor would say that there are other exceptions to the rape is all about violence general rule. According to the text for the class, some rapists specifically pick out incredibly attractive women as their victims. Secondly, according to the instructor, there are more prison rapes on Valentine's Day, when the prisoners get lonely. This last argument assumes, of course, that the psychology of male-male rape is the same as that of male-female rape.

  • My penis is a weapon?

  • If you use it as such.

  • it should be your job to kick rapists in their balls how bout ;D

  • thank you for the response on my comment. You said more confident sexual offenders tend to attack strong and independent women. it is more difficult to therapize such men than young, one-time offenders. the underlying problems may yet be the same: Violence in the past, lack of interpersonal skills, thus low self esteem. However, these men will always be interested in women and sex. To reduce the risk of reoffending let women teach them how to be respectful loving caring. Undeserved yet effective?

  • i'll think its possible

  • Penis weapon?

  • you are sooo hoot :)

  • yea she is lol

  • I Think So.

  • GOOD VIDEO

  • Just wanted to say you're a natural and great at what you do!

  • Interesting, but flawed, observations. The false accusation rate in "rape" cases is the vast overwhelming majority, so THAT is the primary issue. So you American females keep pontificating on who should or should not be castrated and we American men will continue to breeze past you in favor of foreign girls. Id ask you to post a video about the skyrocketing amount of female sexual predators (teachers, in particular) but it would be pearls before swine. Thank GOD I married a sexy foreign girl!

  • I do plan to do a video on female sexual perpetrators. It's a huge problem that seriously pisses me the fuck off.

As for false accusations, they might be abundant. But false REPORTS (as in, getting the police involved) are tracked by the fucking FBI. So I think I'll take the FBIs extremely accurate stats over your ramblings.

  • I can't wait for that video. Also i'm a fan of your vid's .......Though I have one question what exactly do you work as or are planning on becoming.I'm a fan and haven't seen all your videos so I don 't know if you mentioned it but I'm just a bit curious.

Um also your house is really empty o.o

  • i just wanted to stop by and say hi to kicesie and to say i think what you are doing is really great and educational.

  • Hey, I really appreciate it!

  • Nonetheless I respect your courage, love your videos, and maybe learned a little bit from a girl almost 10 years younger than me. You make me feel old...lol...ok not really. Keep up the good work with the videos and I look forward to the case studies you will someday write on Sex in one of the Medical Journals.

  • Nice video, but make your no mean no.Your assumptions are vague, your pressured to view rape a little skewed. Women start in a victim stance then believe rappist will rape again. The murder of a child is overlooked because rape adds glamoure to a news story. Kid-Killer become Kid-Rapper. Rape occures for a lot of reasons, has nothing to do with be-little anyone (except in prison) There should not be criminal laws that work as perdictions. Opinions ands laws like that are fundmentaly evil.

  • Ok first of all I totally agree with you on the fact that they should be locked away for a long time because when they put them back out on the street they are probably going to do it again. Another thing is that i believe that any guy who can sexually assault a girl has absolutely no right being outside of prison.

  • hay im kinda new to youtube i just made an account and i watched your latest video and i think your right thay should be locked up for life i have herd so much about you and i think your doing a good thing and so i feel for you girl im trying to be care full cuz it could happen to me it could happen to anyone i love you videos and can you plz put out a video of how men dont rule the world weman can to thanks

  • i'm leaning closer to labotamy over castration

  • Alright girl. sexual assault are not for sex. they are only for showing domination. So castration make them incapable attack using their private part isn't it? Then a man can use a stick, or any other foreign object to assault. Because he is doing it for domination not for sex so it is always possible isn't it? Then how will you punish them. how effective in this case the castration is? we feel supporters of castration has some ulterior motives or hate because of this reason.

  • Hello,

I have first hand knowledge of what rape can do to a person, as a cousin of mine was raped and the man that did it I took gave him a lesson he will not forget for the rest of his life, not only physical but also mentally as well.

I whole heartedly conciure with what aperturius has said and I will go a step further and say that you are one amazing and strong person, as I noticed that just talking about this subject made you look uncomfortable.

    Keep it up.

    Regards

    Mike D

  • Actually it's someone who made a documentary in the UK about it. I can tell fetish requests from legit ones... I get them all the time.

  • Hi, I stumbled across your videos today and I just wanna commend you on what must be one hell of a double-edged sword, posting these on YouTube. It's the place to get the most people to view your content (very important), but it must be a full-time job and a half filtering the rude & nasty comments from so many a-holes out there. You're doing something good here, keep it up :)

  • wow, thanks for recognizing that. It's so true... lots of work, but well worth it!

MANY thanks! Have a beautiful day!

  • You seem like a very lovely intellengent you woman.Good job

  • im big on revenje and holding a grudge i mean i would say cut the rapist dikc off and call it a day i know it doesnt do sosioty and good but it sure in the hell makes you feel better and think about it they can never rape again or steal another girls virginity and hey i think of an eye for an eye i would kill him much rather before chopping his dikc off but thats just me im a violent person but your very right doing all that stuff wont help at all to be the bigger person or somethin like that

  • ,,,the viewers are less than 1.000.000

i think that sucks and we should be there for persons that need suport or just need to know someone alse knows what happened...

we humans are so stupid sometimes (no ofence guys) we love so much the sensational and we forget to take care or try to help thouse who really need our atention!!!

i think what you are doing is great and i really hope things will be good for you.

(sorry i wasnt on teh topic but i felt i had to post this) thanks :*

  • The problem with Castration, and while I wish it was implemented for certain crimes on a case by case situation, I believe it can have a negative effect too.

When you remove someones outlet, it could turn into a much more deadly force.

As pointed out in this video.

  • Show us your muffins. :)

  • Oh dear, that better not get started. lol... I'll admit, it's funny... the first time. Anyone else repeating it won't get approved.

  • Interesting topic. I believe that castration would eventually increase violent crime, as those castrated would feel inadequate as men both physiologically and psychologically and thus compensate by becoming more agressive in nature. I have no idea how to deal with these offenders but getting them out of society would definately be a priority.

  • Rape or sex assault are terms used to cover different types of crime. There is violent aggressive crime and there is date rape crime. The 1st is a crime of violence. The 2nd is much more complicated to explain. Some forms of this occur when the it turns in to a crime of violence in others it a crime motivated by sexual desire alone. The same can be true in paedophilia where the offender wants to love and care for the child and see sex as part of this. The removal of sexual desire can be effectiv

  • Actually, legally, 'sexual assault' is used to cover a variety of sexual crimes. Rape is one of them. Molestation is another. Sexual battery is another.

Rape, legally, requires the penetration of an orifice (with anything, a finger, a tongue, an object, etc etc)

But there are many other ways to assault someone in a sexual manner without penetration, thus we attempt to use the term,

'Sexual Assault' more often.... because they are all traumatic.

  • Actually I grew up believing I was a rapist waiting to happen. Too much Vogue, Cosmopolitan and Red Book I guess. 'No excuse in the world for sexual assault'? So these men are just pure evil? I've never raped anyone but I could see a man 'getting out of hand'. Maybe that makes me an unp-c type or unscientific or something but...I mean, people do something jacked up and it's always b/c they sit around thinking about it before hand or is rape somehow different than other human fuckups?

  • You're not being an arrogant dickwad so I'll treat you with respect. I have to ask though- what is really the difference between punishment and revenge? I assume 'punishment' somehow makes the world a better place? But...recidivism, people forced to become racists to stay alive in prison...maybe what we need is a better way to make people in the first place. Something codified, scientifically scrutinized, and refined until we have people who simply don't victimize others in the first place.

  • Chris? No, im Joe. but probably got a crush on you with an intellectual twist. someone once told me if you want to make people see the horrible things you see, then talk about it... and keep talking till its in everyones damn face.. nice work Kicesie!

  • is castration when they cut off you dick or something?

  • You make a very good point about rape being a crime of power and sadism, thus how castration wouldn't be effective. However, I'd like to know your view of castration for pedophiles/child molesters. I don't think that's a crime of power so much as it is a sexual impulse (like you, I'm not a professional and haven't done extensive research on the subject).

  • same as cutting fingers....

I agreee it makes no sense to castrate. It is better to put them in jail(for a period to think) or to eliminate them(kill).

  • You presented really excellent point kicesie. Thanks for your thoughtful opinions!

  • Having never watched any of your other videos, I would have to say that I found this one quite interesting.I had thought about castration as a sentence before, but only at the urgings of so-called "sexual predators" who were procastration.I agree that castration would not prevent the majority of repeat offenses.Of course I did not have the time to fully research and support my opinion at the time, as it was just a 5-10 minute conversation in a car, but I will pass this along if it comes up again

  • i have to say that for a man, castration is easily the scariest thing we can think about. using castration as a punishment is not about getting revenge for sexual assault, but it will scare every sexual predator into thinking twice before committing sexual assault.

  • wth?

why would they do that to someone lol

  • because they are sick fuckers who should be killed or cut

  • I kind of agree with the mases, I am pro castration. But only if you see it from the point of view of revenge definitively. and if you ask me if it will help, mostly I am going to say NO, but, at least it is a start to "punish" their offense to society. Later we will get more serious with other punishments, until they get the message. My two cents opinion.

  • OMG i just saw the Weezer video and you were in it yea im form Northern Ireland we get things really late

  • Part 2. After the Oklahoma City bombing, a group of rescue workers spray painted the following on a wall:

"We search for the truth. We seek justice. The courts require it. The victims cry for it. GOD demands it!"

When a rape victim comes out of court I want her to know that her rapist will face just punishment. But I also want her to know that civilized society, through the justice system, recognizes that the rapist attempted to strip her dignity from her, and we will not stand for that.

  • Part 1. Another reaction. This video was about a "castration cure", but a lot of the comments have to do with punishment, revenge, etc. Some, but not too many, talked about justice. And I think that is what we really want to see, justice.

I watched a TV show, a fictional drama. As part of the fictional story it brought up a true story that I think can help us focus our attention.

  • I disagree with castration, and have my reasons for it, but unfortunately there wouldn't be enough characters for me to do a proper comment, and state my feelings on this. I am not into video responses either, so that is out of the question.

All I am gonna say is "Lex Talionis" The law of retribution. Forget the castration stuff,I say let the rapist get thrown in jail and raped by their cell mate. That is true justice, or at least poetic justice.

  • as a man, I don't necessarily advocate castration; I advocate life imprisonment or execution. hell, it seems that we used to do that, but then some bleeding heart socialists came up with this stupid notion that they can be cured, or that it's not their fault.... seems to have gone downhill from there.

  • i heard that an american family successfully gained the right to remove their adult mentally disabled (mental age of baby) daughter's sexual organs.

if castration is legal in some circurcumstances of an extremely low IQ, is it so different to allow it on a rapist?

  • yeah that is a good idea! its a good compromise between the psychotic extreme of mutilating their bodies, & the overly generous extreme of giving them the exact same privileges as those who commit petty offences

  • haha there was a CSI episode a couple of years ago. castration wont lower the sex drive so it wont stop them from wanting to rape or sexually assult someone.

  • CSI is not scientific fact you realize.

  • this is true. but im sure they did reseach this topic in order to put that material into the show.

  • When you get castrated, basically, all of the future genrations of your successors, all of your children and grandchildren are killed in an instant. Your genetic line is cut, that's it. Curtains close on you. Despite what men might say (they are known to pass harsh judgements twice too fast and often), I daresay none of them would wish another one a fate as cruel as this one. Or at least - I - would not.

  • Castration is classified as a way to control sex and therefore is detrimental to health..Because of this It is considered a "human rights violation" and is outlawed globally (possible sanctions)

-Under the US Constitution it would be considered Cruel and Unusual Punishment

Yet if you are convicted of a sexual crime ..i dont care about your fucking rights anymore

  • I'm not sure about how I actually feel on the subject of castration, but i totally agree that having children is a privalige not a right. so many people become parents who shouldn't, so maybe ending the genetic trail of a sex offender would be a good idea.

  • i am also anonimus10110 so yeah. my views on castration is if we start making public examples of it (granted kids should not be allowed and it is optional to attend)then many of the rape percentage would go down.

  • I've seen the film and it was clear (I'll call it intution) that the "rehabilitated" people on the film (with one exception) were not changed at all in the reasons they commit sexual assault. The film only covered some cases and wasn't real research, but the looks in those men's faces told me it didn't change much.

  • Rape not as bad as murder? You kidding me? Ask how many girls committed suicide after their rape... Ask how many girls feel dead, inside and out after rape... Ask how many girls would prefer to be be dead after... Ask how many men thinking only revenge after being raped by priests in institutions or churches(US church has paid over 2 billions to rape victims, and still paying for more...)~Rape is the worst thing can happen to any girl/boy/woman/man~ If you haven't being raped you DON'T know shit

  • I both agree and understand the frustration felt when someone ignorant of the realities of rape says something like that. But you responded very well!

  • do you?

  • do I what?

  • These are rapists. They commit a more vile act than murder. If they can't be treated psychologically then theres nothing that can be done for them. There are countless 3 time sex offenders in the prison where my father works. 3 TIMES! The best thing we can hope for is that the really vile ones just get stabbed in prison. And what happened to no more low cut tops? Its difficult to listen when I'm "enjoying the show".

  • if someone supports a rapist being castrated, to be fair & consistent, they must also support wife beaters having their arms & legs chopped off & terrorists bein locked in a room & blown to smithereens. can u imagine the chaos society would collapse into if we do this eye for an eye thing???? we'd all be blind!!!

the point of the law is that punishment is consistent, controlled, decent & decided by an unbiased 3rd party

  • I totally agree except that "unbiased" doesn't exist and juries who decide guilt are often WAY under-informed and base their judgments on false assumptions our society teaches.

    The key is education....

    And research..

And real rehabilitation, if possible. If not, a better solution to protecting society from them.

  • I've heard it said, by a woman, that a rapist should have "it" nailed to a stump. And I agree.

  • You are so pretty with glasses.

  • The straight up fact is, as mentioned in the video, even if they are chemically or physically castrated, they will find other ways to get it to happen, more violent usually.Even if it does deter some, it will enrage others, which leads to more violent and sadistic sexual crimes. Its like closing the vagina up, its just not right, it is simply an attempt at revenge, even though it is well deserved. There is no excuse for sex crimes in all forms. We just need to sit down and reserch it.

  • i couldnt agree with you more. human mutilation is a very un-civilized form of punishment, what rapists need are to be given lots of time behind bars and lots of therapy sessions.

  • Dont get me wrong. I am not saying rape is not evil. I do not mean to minimalize anyones pain. I do not believe in altering anyones body (with the exception of the death penalty) as a punishment. To borrow from a feminist euphemism, "our body, our choice".

  • you know you sure do give alot of people self confidence and i just would like to say you boosted mine alot

  • But it doesn't give the data of the people saying the research is flawed while they do give some data of the people claiming castration is effective.

It may be harsh but I think it is the best thing we have right now for keeping repeat sexual offenders from raping other than locking them away for ever.

  • I have read somewhere that men who lose there genitals become less aggressive because they have less testosterone in their system. Wouldn't that make them less likely to use violence for some kind of sense of power again?

This link sort of backs up my claim but it does say some people have claimed the research that backs up the effectiveness of castration is flawed.

  • I think in some situations castration would be appropriate, like repeat offenders.

I think it will stop them from raping or at least make it harder. They might just turn to other types of violence but you don't know that. Is their any data/research on people who have been castrated that would back up the claim that people who have been castrated turn to other methods of violence?

  • first : what is rape - what is a rapist - what is the goal of rape?

if you can find out these things - you can answer your question -

  • thank you

  • i agree

  • kicesie i chose to be annonimous because of my shame but what is the average size of the penis because i feel i am rather small -anonimous

  • Depending on the population size and selection in the study it ranges from 4.9 inches to 5.2 (the average length of an erect penis, that is).

  • thank you so much. i can not express how much better i feel about getting that answer and i did some research and with what i could come up with is the average girl is about 5 inches deep.

  • Very true.... 3-5 inches deep... although we are capable of accommodating more if need be.... there is absolutely no proof that deeper feels better (in fact all the women I talk to say the opposite).... it's angle angle angle!

  • Bill O'Reilly would disagree with your progressive viewpoint on this matter, and anyone who disagrees with him on this castration issue would be told to SHUT UP because he likes corporal punishment and capitol punishment and does not want to hear opposing viewpoints.

"FAUX NEWS...Fair and Balanced News." ;-)

  • Wow. I just discovered your channel and I just wanted to let you know how heartening it is. Your manner, your "professionalism," your honesty, your thoughtfulness, all so, so admirable, especially for this subject matter and in a climate of anti-intellectualism.

Cheers to you and keep up the good work.

  • Well said

  • stop saying research!

  • Why? It's the only reliable form of information... it's an integral part of the scientific process.

  • my friend your all grown up.. id kiss you from head to toe..

  • Is this chris?

  • Finally someone speaks some truth and common sense on this issue. The call to castrate is a knee-jerk, emotional response rather than an educated, sensible one. This is especially true when the victim of sexual assault is a child, but it is more than that when speaking of child victims. The riotous, torch carrying mob marching to the courthouse calling to castrate(murder would be better) the offender seeks to assuage its guilt in knowing full well there are other ways-to which they (cont)

  • (cont)chose to turn a blind eye-that a child can be destroyed. Where is the call to cut out the tongue of an extremely emotionally abusive parent? Or to cut out the womb of a drug/alcohol addicted woman who brings multiple damaged babies into the world to then neglect, abandon or abuse? Or the man who wantonly spreads his seed with no intention of ever taking any responsibility for resulting children. Shouldn't we castrate these men?

  • ...i intend to donate to a sperm clinic, you aren't castrating me :P

  • then don't rape.

    kinda kidding.

As said, I'm not for castration as the answer anyway.

  • Is an "punish evil men" law. Its a revenge law, plain and simple. Imagine an innmocent man being accused of this(it does happen) and they castrate him. Now he is 1. sterile 2. traumatized 3. impotent etc. Im going to say something that will get me slammed, but so be it. typical rapes heal (maybe not emotionally but hopefully) on a woman. Permenant physical changes such as castration never will.

  • Actually, as a victim myself I'd rather physical scars all over my body than the emotional scars. The wounds or rape heal, yes... but nasty scars are left.. for everyone. And they are NEVER the same again.

I personally feel that rape is just as bad as murder (depending on the method of murder) but don't like to get into the slippery slope of grading evil... 'A is more evil than B but less evil that C.' (etc)

  • Like she said in the video, it is essentially tit for tat. I sexually violate you, now you'll sexually violate me by castration. Thats what castration is, anyway you want to put it, its a sexual violation of a male. pretty simple. It would be akin to having vaginas sewed shut for illegal abortions (sorry, I dont know if women rape a whole lot of men, though that might be an interesting subject for kicesie.) We wouldnt never legislate such laws. So I cant help but feel that this is an.....

  • It is "simply logical".

  • ye it u shouldnt be punished like that, i think if we lost our rights then the laws would become meaningless, people would the gonverment more

an i hurt someone i love recently,no i didnt rape her but i did something in bed an i upset her lots an i think if this came in the uk then it would hurt family, friends too much

  • You are an amazing person

  • A video topic suggestion: Why do men rape? Why do women rape? What is similar and different.

I do not understand how someone can maintain "the blood flow" while raping someone else. Violence, attacking, crying, forcing myself on someone ... these are not things that allow me to be in the mood, I couldn't perform. What is different for a rapist that he can?

  • I think the things that repel you against raping are the same things that actually act as an aphrodisiac to a rapist. Maybe not aphrodisiac...that sounds too romantic. But certainly the victims fear, the violence, the knowledge that they're exerting their "power" over another human being are THE things that stimulate a rapist. Thank Gods for what you are saying, that most normal males wouldn't even begin to consider those things as a sexual stimulant. It's actually very comforting, your comment.

  • Quite unfortunately in a huge national study of college aged males they asked, 'if you knew you could get away with it, would you rape a woman?' About 45% said they would. (sources available)

I think, however, that those men would actually find a huge repulsion the moment they realized what rape truly was like.... and not how hollywood projects it.

  • The way AylaJoJo describes it, sounds like an extreme sport. After hearing what 45% of males said, I'm ashamed on their behalf. I was raised with better morales than that. I would have assumed so were more guys.

  • I've seen the studies and they are true. Men take the cake when it comes to violent acts. They fight each other, they do more damange in domestic violence cases; I do like to think that there is a growing number of men and women that are evolved, despising violence--meaning the men are gentle and caring and women are more interested in men of peace rather than bad boys. And their children will be a better generation, followed by an even better one, and onward...

  • I'd like the source. As the father of a college age male, I'd really like to understand this.

  • Actually this webpage covers not only that but a lot of other VERY interesting facts I've heard quoted a million times (as a rape prevention worker) but not had the source sitting in front of me... so here it is. Hope it's enlightening to you:

    holysmoke(DOT)org/fem/fem0286.htm

  • PS: That study, the most most detailed at the bottom, has been HIGHLY looked over by the academic community and has passed several peer review boards. It has been validated, found to have veracity in their numbers, and it has been duplicated in other communities with very similar results.

In other words, while EVERY study has it's critics, this study has stood up extremely well (again, the one mentioned in detail toward the bottom of the page).

  • Well, I read the web page. That's certainly disturbing. My son and I will have much to talk about.

I'm asking this next as a question, I am truly interested in your opinion. I'm not trying to argue stats or refute studies. I'm asking because I am interested in what you think:

Have you read the Feb. 24th LA Times Opinion piece titled "What campus rape crisis?" and if so, what is your opinion of it? Do you accept the numbers and the writers interpretation and conclusions?

  • Haven't read it... might try to (though I suspect it'll infuriate me). But when study after scientific study is done (and I KNOW how they work, so I understand their accuracy), I tend to believe that FAR! more than an opinion columnist, with an agenda, who pulls together data that fits that preconceived opinion.

And at any rate, with the literally dozens of messages I receive here on youtube every day from rape victims, 'Crisis' doesn't even begin to capture what our society is going through.

  • If you decide to read it, read "The Campus Rape Myth" instead. It's the original article from the City Journal that the LA Times opinion piece was adapted from.

If McDonald will infuriate you with her piece in the LA Times, her original article in City Journal will make you blow a gasket. The reason I asked for your opinion of the piece is that she takes aim at some of the science that has been done, and questions its validity. And McDonald is one of those people who influence public policy.
